  If people think Mahama is doing a good job rather than campaigning than Ghanaians are cheap. Why did he make Ghanaiansa suffer for so long. Why now? Schools under tree are the main focus of any reasonable person.

This is a publicity stunt.Let individual institutions choose the kinda of vehicles they prefer, present estimates to finance through GES for approval.A President does not shop around looking for vehicles for institutions.He is looking to create a name for himself.He might even paste his pics on them.Bad publicity and it does not erode the bribe you took....ford explorer.Now corruption has finally settled home...on the doorstep of the flagstaff house!

  School buses should not be a commercial buses. School bus should be mid size; for the sake of maintanence and cost. I believe Ghana has lost the best brains for education policy. Look, in economic calculation the Government should have purchase 1000 to 1500 buses for the same budget{money}. Any more school could have benefitted from the program. Mahama is working hard to do something. But lack of bright and practical minds are doing him harm. My take is that the "school buses" are for commercial use after the elections. It wont matter if he wins or loses. Ghana has diabolical master minds. Money, Lie and Loot!

  The Buses were not his to give as some personal gift. He only presented what the Nation had to supply to our Institutions for them to fare better in Transporting Students and goods around.

  The Buses were not his to give as some personal gift. He only presented what the Nation had to supply to our Institutions for them to fare better in Transporting Students and goods around.
  
  The Funds for the Buses come from our own Tax and other Revenues. So, you folks should stop making a propaganda out of this little effort by the Government to improve Education in the country.
  
  In fact, what would have helped more is paying all the arrears the Government owes the Teachers and providing proper School Buildings and other Educational facilities that more directly impact on Student performance. In that case, we would have eliminated Schools-under-trees in Ghana.
  
  Meanwhile, we might see these vehicles only in the Urban area Schools. We may not see any in the Rural School Districts. Mainly, High Schools and Tertiary Institutions are those who would benefit from the vehicles. Elementary Schools where the foundation of Education matters most are still left in the morass.
  
  If Mahama has Funds to provide these Vehicles to the Schools, he should have more to provide for Teachers' Salaries, Books, Desks and the other needs as well. Let's see him do so now!
  
  Long Live Ghana!!!
