Ashantis in all of their existents as a tribe have always lost battles no matter how weak the opponents are. Typical of their cowardice charracter; Kwabena Agyapong has reinforced that trait of a tribe that are known to out-talk everybody but take cover for safety when battle is most required. Three aggrieved personalities got wrongfully suspended, one of them an Ashanti coward and a hypocrite decided to betray others in the course of such for justice, that is who the Ashantis are. Kwabena Agyapong's attitude should teach the northners in the NPP fold that they are in a wrong camp cos the Ashanti/Achim people are no tribes to shed blood for.

I would rather Kwabena Agyepong stood in with Afoko to the end, damn the consequences. Meanwhile, even if Agyepong were to be reinstated, his firm support for Afoko to the end could have strengthened the former's position and enhanced his future in Politics.

Should your suggestion hold, Kagya, NPP would suffer an avalanche of backfire from folks who think the Party has always been discriminating against non-Akans, and have been using the likes of Dr. Bawumia and the late VP Aliu as window-dressing to hide that part of the Party.

Kwabena Agyepong must not betray Afoko for any price.

Mr has realized that he made a big mistake by actions he took. A courageous man is the one who accepts his wrong doings and make amends. Mr Agyeppng has done the right thing which is long overdue. Mr Afoko on the other hand in my opinion is fighting a loose battle. The earlier he (Afoko) changes his stand the better. It is Jaw jaw not war war!
