First the NPP in Parliament claimed Amoateng was charged and hence he was innocent till proven guilty. Even after Amoateng pleaded guilty to the charges in court, the NPP Parliamentarians still remain silent on the issue. Amoateng served ten years in prison before being released. Upon his release, the crooked NPP drug dealing MP was found to be in possession of a passport in a different name.
And we'll not even get into Hotel Kufuor, government contracts to given to NPP Ministers during Kufuor's administration, land grabbing by President Kufuor and his NPP cronies, and the millions of dollars in bribes taken by President Kufuor and his NPP cronies from firms that were bidding on off-shore oil business off the coast of Ghana. Does Jubilee ring a bell? So much for the hypocrisy of NPP. I can picture these NPP Members of Parliament atop their elephants, each holding peaches and ready to throw them at Mahama.

If the elderly in the society are dragging their feet instead of putting their heads together to solve the problems facing the nation.
