The CPP presidential candidate was afraid of the obvious and decided to soften his criticism of the president and in the process, became one of the apologists who do not deserve to hold the highest office of the land. Nobody can tell me there was no quid pro quo in the process. I do not think parliament can muster the courage to initiate any investigation into the case let alone moving past the current government explanation given by the Ministry of Information.

Our politicians have neglected their duties and instead look out for their individual interests. The fact that one politician did it and got away with should not become the norm. Normalization of deviant behavior marks the beginning of our demise. We should all throw away party colors and begin to think of GHANA first!

This is not bribing but in a way a thank you in appreciation of what Mahama helped him to achieve. However, taking into consideration the value of the gift, it paves way for the Contractor to get future contracts from Mr. Mahama which more gifts would be showered on Mahama. It is wrong doing on Mahama's part. If this had been done by any public official, he would be put before court. That in mind Mahama either resign or get impeach.
