Isn't it a shame? After making them frustrated, charged them, bring them over to Europe as slaves. At first the whiteman came to Africa to look for slaves as if that was not bad enough, now it's alright for our elected president to bring them over. How sad!! And you said you respect such a person? Akuffo Addo didn't care about us Ghanaians when he the AG nor The foreign minister when 30 Ghanaian youths were murdered in The Gambia. He did nothing. now he too wants to be president? Oh my goodness!! Why you Ghanaians always want your enemies to govern you? Are we mad? No wonder they disrespect us when they get to the top. The Ashanti King, accepts President Mahama as the Head of State, and so does his people. Have you seen President Mahama visit the Ashanti Region and receive a hostile reception? In fact if you know the history of Ghana you would know that the late Mr Krobo Edusei, (Ashanti born Politician), played a leading role in selecting Mr Hilla Limann to become the Flagbearer of the PNP, which went onto win the Elections in 1979. Was President Limann not from one of the Regions in the Northern Ghana? You have also falsely stated that Ashanti's never accepted Nkrumah because he was Nzema.
Have you not looked at the iconic photograph of Dr Nkrumah declaring Independence. If you look on the bottom of the podium you will see the late Mr Krobo Edusei wearing a brown Cloth. He and other Ashanti's stood side by side with Dr Nkrumah during the struggle for Independence and he was a close associate of Dr Nkrumah serving in his CPP Government as Minister of the Interior, Minister of Transport & Minister of Agriculture. Please don't take my word for it you can read the biography of the late Mr Krobo Edusei on Wikileaks. Are you not aware of the political violence that occurred in the 1950's involving supporters of the NLM and CPP, in the Ashanti Region where thousands of people died?
Did the Ashanti Region not vote in favour of the CPP, to reject the idea of becoming a separate Federal State in the 1950's?
Please stop trying to kick dust in the eyes of others with dishonest statements which can easily be exposed. You cannot rewrite historical facts no matter how hard you try. Especially when relatives of historical figures are still alive.
