  These numbers should be clearly makes as reported cases. I bet the number of cases that are not reported are more than those reported. In many villages the rape and violent sexual acts end at the chiefs' palace with a bottle of Akpeteshie collected as penalty. The number of cases that not reported at all are even more. Women should be encouraged to report all cases, with a promise of privacy for the victims.

  Women in Ghana are blindly copying Western lifestyle and dress provocatively. I don't condone rape of any nature but women should also be mindful of how they dress and don't expose themselves to draw attention.
