It is now up to the IEA to humble themselves and do the neceassary behind-the-scene contacts showing a lot of remorse to bring back the NDC on their schedules. If they continue to talk tough deceiving themselves that NDC boycott will not affect their programme of debates, that would mark the end of IEA organized debates in Ghana. NDC only wants respect and this should not be difficult for the IEA to do even if lately.

A debate boycott will not favour president Mahama if Ghana was politically matured. This accounts for bad leadership in Africa. When will Ghana grow into democratic political maturity? Ghanaians should not vote for N D C government if a decision is made not to take part in a national debate. The party stands to lose on the basis of this idiotic and silly decision. The fact remains as to how many people (percentage) of Ghanaians who are properly educated will play major role in determining who qualifies to lead the country. It took America and the United Kingdom so long to grow into political maturity, and l am concerned about the state of affairs in Ghana. May the lord intervene.
