Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Look, Mahama is just a hypocrite and the reason is, he had given a code of conduct to all ministers and government appointees not to accept any gift worth more than 200 cedis so why should he, being the president, accept this car that is more than 200 cedis?

Mahama is like a prostitute who will sleep with any person with money because as president, there is no reason to accept a "second hand used car". It is a way of exposing Mahama as being the cheapest president ever.

What can be more politics than a contractor who gets government contracts giving an expensive car to a President. If the Prsident strongly believed it was wrong to accept the gift, then it should have simply been returned to the contractor. Sending the car to be put in the pool of cars at the Presidency would be similar to a guy taking a prostitute home to his family house and telling his wife that he has nothing to do with the whore but the wife should accommodate the whore anyway at the family house. Simply put, one does not spit on the plate he eats from, rather he ensures that it is kept clean.

You are not just saying it because you don't have the fact but my question is what fact do you need to establish your case or make prudent submission? You only have to analyze the evidence presented by the journalist and make critical analogy of the case. U can also compare your views to that of others which you've already done and it is obvious in your comparison that, the man was bribed. If the bible cautions us on gifts from the Greeks, then why can't you call a spade a spade. Remember the same bible talks about hypocrisy.

After the car gift, the man is given contracts from the government of Ghana. People advance the excuse that the president does not award contracts so he could not have been compromised but the fact is the president can order whoever gives out the contract to consider the man. Another thing is why would the man buy the car for Mahama in the first place if it was not seek favours from him (Mahama)? It is instructive to note that the man was awarded contracts following his car gift. Whichever way I look at it, clearly Mahama has been induced. This is a clear bribe.

Ethics demand that the gift be made public and given away, in this case, to Ghana; ethics demand that the President must not benefit from the offer and must be returned, if the offer could not be returned, then turning it over to Ghana was the right thing to do. The President did the right thing. He has not personally benefited from the offer, and therefore it cannot be said that he has accepted a bribe; though it is clear that the intention of the giver was to influence the President.

Where I work, due to ethical considerations, we do not accept any gift of value (even donuts) from a potential customer to include friends and relatives of such Customer or Potential Customer.

Africa in general has problem of giving and accepting gifts that in most cases are not done out of love but done to influence the recipient.

The vehicle was later allegedly, put into the car pool for the state. I leave the rest to the conscience of the Peace Council man.
