Coastal belt because the last time I checked NPP did not think it was sensible to situate a Factory in Komenda, a coastal town. Find out from him if this is within his tenure of of office as president? Find out from him how many terms he intends staying in power as a septuagenarian? How much will be spent on each factory? and the source of that funding?

  Maybe, they define factory as "a dog house, a chicken coop or some village kitchen”, because it’s highly impossible to accomplish that, since we can’t even pay our teachers & doctors their salary arrears.
  
  Realistically, these stomach politicians—if not promising people just for votes—should tell Ghanaians "what kind of factories they intend to be build (i.e., to produce what?)." After nearly 60 years of political independence, how many factories have been built in the 10 regions? Even if we have 2 in each region, we would have 20—but do we? If we do, then status statistics, please!!
  
  So, what is this nonsensical and time wasting loose-talk of building a gargantuan number of 256 coming from—to produce palmwine, Pito, snails and guinea fowls?? The Negro will NEVER get it. Just cut your coat according to you know what!!

  So if they do manage to build a factory for every 10 miles they get away from Tema/Accra the price of the product is going to increase.
  
  The factory will only work half the time due to Electricity or Water shortages.
  So the price will be double the cost of the same item made abroad.
  
  A 1€ item from Europe will cost 10€ when made in Ghana.

We heap up rubbish and filth and contract people to clean them at exorbitant cost, monies we can accumulate to build good factories to provide employment.Introducing simple cost saving mechanism rather heaping taxes on people are the norms of the day in Africa. The cities; London, New York, Paris, etc are made clean at little cost unlike Accra, Lagos, Abidjan etc which are left filthy to clean at high cost. Where are the sanitary offices these days?

Labour unions are supposed to support initiatives that offer employment to the people, I would therefore expect that you offer suggestions as to how this idea could be implemented instead of saying never.
