Mahama should broadcast a speech to the nation using the mass media. He needs to bare out his inner soul to the conscience of the nation otherwise no one will take him serious on corruption again. The fact is the coming election is a close one to be decided by independent voters who are very discerning, analytical and skeptical and I believe Mahama is losing them

But Mr Atta Mills’s spokesman said the president felt it was better not to accept them in case the givers were seeking something in return.

The question was did you John Mahama receive a Ford Expedition SUV from Djibril Kanazoe your friend who had been trying to win contracts in this country but was encountering problems which was resolved after the said SUV was given to you as a gift, and other persons including friends of Mikado came to see you or not? Are you disputing the words of the giver that you called to thank him for the gift after receiving it and praised him for a contract he executed and was on the verge of giving him another contract on a sole-sourced basis, after the keys of the SUV landed in your laps?
John Mahama has not been able to answer these questions except to say, the allegations are baseless, meanwhile the SUV is in there and the contracts have been executed.
Where is that Asiedu Nketia character who was saying John Mahama's fight against corruption was unmatched in this country? Is that how the NDC party and gov't fights corruption? NPP through Mahmudu Bawumia has made it clear that when they come to power they will be expelling Ewhes and Gha-Adangbes from Ghana. It is on record that NPP presented the voter list of voters in the South Tongu Constituency as that of Togolese voters. Is NPP saying that when Kufuor was in power from 2001 to 2009 he never received gifts on his own behalf and the people of Ghana?
We have been made to know that John Kufuor was the sole tender board for the construction of stadiums for CAN 2008 and also the selling of Ghana Telecom.
