  Ghanaian market women are one of our greatest assets for keeping the nation going, more so than our governments which have been a drain. They feed at least over 50% of the population alone. These women most of them are the only bread winners in the house and keeping their husbands and children alive. Yet see such a bad deal the nation rewards them with. Look at the current situation in Kumasi for example. They lost their trading post for a long time, moved to the Race Course and back at their own expense and now resettling them at a very high cost as imposed by the KMA mayor. God bless our mothers and our women who earn an honest living. This excludes the thieves in the government.
