You are absolutely right Odikro and I am baffled to say the least that this man that was the UN head will make such a statement when Bush and Blair were involved in something that the UN clearly said was illegal and yet they went to war anyway. Is the ICC like the UN and just there for being there sake? Do we even have to abide by their laws seen as they don't really matter in the big picture or perhaps it's what I've always thought. You dish out harsh and cold punishments to Africa and pick and choose who gets it in the west. Save your long talk for your pay masters MR ANNAN.

ICC is a neocolonial court. We are all aware that Kofi Annan was no Earth when NPP went to court to overturn the Presidential votes of December, 7th and 8th, 2012. So Mr. Kofi Annan is telling us that in case NPP won the case NDC must take up arms, which was what exactly happened in the Ivory Coast. Lauren Gbagbo said that there were irregularities in the voting so he took the matter to the constitutional court that voted in his favour. What Allassan Autarah is supposed to do is to make and appeal and not take up arms, which was illegal. It looks like Kofi Annan has lost his senses.

If the ICC is real,why has it taken that long to drag the President Rawlings and his men in crime before such court to answers to their wanton murders of fellow citizens. Especially that of the former Heads of State, Senior Military Officers and the Judges who bodies were burnt at Bundasi military range. If Rawlings was right why did he and his band of criminals insert the Indemnity Clause into the Constitution to prevent them from prosecutions of their wanton crimes while in office? Ghanaians need answers to such cold blooded murders.
