Makes a lot of sense what he says.I compare Ghana to what Zimbabwe is now and what it used to be.Look at south Africa, despite all the ramblings about inequality and stuff.Look at us now.We seem to have retrogressed rather than progressed.His assertion gives hope there are well meaning people in Ghana.The P/NDC has taken us way too backwards.In the little mining town I grew in, we had bungalows obviously where the British lived.I feel so nostalgic about my childhood.The streets,the trees the flowers how clean our little town was.A neighbour was fined for leaving their water barrel uncovered.The sanitary inspector said it was a health hazard! That was shortly after independence.The relics of our colonial past still lingered on , not in its entirety but a shadow of its glorious past... parliament house, legon campus.The bungalows area in my little town does not exist anymore.. except the skeletal shadow of its past and overgrown weeds.
Let's take a referendum.Who wants us back to the colonial era? I certainly do.We now know who the real thieves are.Our very "freedom fighters".

No wonder Nana Akufo Addo and his NPP keep on referring to la Cote d'Ivoire as an example to follow. They forget that that country is the epitome of a neocolonialist state with everything they do being controlled by their master, France. That is how the NPP would like Ghana to become. Given the chance they would sell all our assets and mortgage our future so that the British would take over and control us legitimately without the need for them to re- colonise us. In addition the NPP believe that if you expose corruption in your own government you will bring it down, and that is why they want to use it against the Mahama administration. For one, if the good people of Ghana buy into it and vote Mahama out, it will prove the NPP right and when they come to power,God forbid, they will be justified in hiding their own corruption and concentrate on the corruption cases involving other parties only. But let Ghanaians know that the most corrupt party in Ghana is most likely the NPP. The very old people in that party grew up in a system when corruption was the norm. It runs in their veins and you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, as the saying goes. So when you take a good look at the Freddie Blays, the Osafo Marfos and indeed, the Nana Addos of the NPP, there is absolutely no doubt that they are in politics, primarily, to enrich themselves. The more they cry " I am not corrupt. I will not steal Ghana's money" the more we should know what is uppermost on or in their minds. " There is no art to find the minds construction in the face" . But let us not be deceived. These are people who have no ideas and no campaign message of their own. Even the 1 district 1 factory idea was stolen just as much as the earlier idea of free SHS was taken from the 1992 constitution.
