Recognition of Chiefs at State Functions will not provide your people with jobs, business opportunities, food to eat or monies to pay school fees, hospital bills etc. Please focus on the day-to-day challenges faced by Asante's. Some say that times have changed & as such Otumfoo can dance to highlife in public. Yes, times have changed and the people see the chieftaincy institution as not abreast with the changing times. Why are you then complaining? People don't respect the institution as before because of your own making. The moral examples set by chiefs no longer exist. Most chiefs are now business men defrauding their own subjects. How do you command respect that way? NEVER.
THERE IS A RUMOUR THAT OTUMFOO CAN NEVER VISIT CANADA. Whether true or not, this casts a lot of doubt on the integrity of this Otumfoo. Do you command respect when such albatross hangs on your neck? NO.

I believe you know it very well that this can never be because Chiefs are not elected but politicians are, to run the affairs of the country no matter how much you distaste them. You always want to put yourself above all people making it look like you are better than anyone else. Yes, you are the chief of your area and the people do recognise that so what else do you want? If Chiefs dabble in politics there would be a lot wof troubles in the towns & villages. Lots of extra judicial killings will occur and no one would be able to speak his mind freely. We all know how autocratic our Chiefs are. This is the reason why Nkrumah in his infinite compassion banned Chiefs in participating in politics. You haven't done all the jobs you are supposed to be doing so please get on with it & leave the elected politicians alone. Yes, we do admire our traditions very much but at the right time. Why should Chiefs be recognised at state functions than ministers? What do they do to empower the youth & the women?

Dey had their subjects at heart and their fought for their betterment even to their graves. But what do we see today, his Royal Majesty? Aint u and ur sub chiefs only chasing after riches, selling judgment to de highest bidder in ur various courts. Who doesn't noe de Asante kingdom is deteriorating under ur watch. Haven't u sat down unconcerned while many pple in de kingdom sadly go to their graves bcos healthcare in de kingdom continues to be destroyed by capitation over de last four yrs. Why is de Asante kingdom being treated differently from de other parts of de country.? Are u sure wen u die and go to de other world and de ancestors ask u abt de welfare of de kingdom, u will be able to tell dem de kingdom is doing well?
