They are lucky it is Ghana. If it were in any Developed country, the minister and the IGP would have been in jail. A former House Speaker of the US is now in jail for offense he committed over thirty years ago

Every wise man knows that, even if he has power, he must exercise it with caution. There is no doubt that a judge has authority to pronounce jail sentence on anybody but the judge in this case would have acted foolishly if he had tried to jail the IGP or the Regional Minister for a so-called contempt. Had he done so, he would paid so dearly by bringing his own career into jeopardy. He was therefore wise to declare these innocent senior officials free from blame.

Our system had not been that good in punishing criminals, hence crime is on the ascendancy. I am a retired navy officer and since there is no law protecting the good citizens of these nation , i pray that these armed robbers make a big mistake by trying to rob me in my house at Dome pillar and we shall what will happen when i take them to court in my own house and i shall be the presiding judge. I have left my gate open for a period of time now, but still no entry. The government know what to do to make armed robbery a thing of the past, but because of political stupidity everybody turned a blind eye to it.

Window dressing,it shows how arrogant and disrespectful to the court by government officials,recently another minister was sighted for contempt by a court in the Volta region when he disobeyed the courts orders with impunity untill he was hauled to the court and finally left off the hook,the court has to stand it grounds or this act of impunity will continue.Seperation of powers is a constitutional requirement and if they allow this,a time ll come the Supreme Court ll be insulted as we re already seeing,it's clear that the law work only if it has to do with the opposition,a very good example is the EC ridiculing the Supreme Court by pretending not to understand the ruling of the court even as lawyers.Amadu Sule and his boss ve no respect for the court because they re always at the reach and call of the NDC and the president so they don't care but this guys should know that even the president is subjective to the laws of the country.John Mahama thinks money can buy everything in this country so he and the NDC want to corrupt all institutions in the country.Ghanaians ve to wake up against this behaviour before things get out of hand.

Do the ndc folks think they can milk Ghana dry like that & get away with it? When they are caught then it is no big deal, but a fabrication against npp by them should be used as a serious issue against the npp. Ndc members are hypocrites, liars, diabolical, confident tricksters, dubious & are collectively a heavy liability to the nation, Ghana.
