the supreme court should be careful!!!
what the supreme court of Ghana is doing is very dangerous! the court is not there to change the law but to interpretation the law. parliament make the law and the EC is implementing what laws parliament of Ghana gave them. so
its only parliament that can change the laws and give that order to EC ! Aburamadan went to the supreme court for interpretation of the electoral law of Ghana. the supreme court asking the EC what they supreme court want is dangerous! now im a citizen of Ghana but i only have NHIS and driving license, and Ghanaian passport. which one should i use for the voter registration? the Ghanaian passport which is very easy for even a foreigner to get or driving license which any nationality can get? do they really know how those ID’S been issue? so you can't tell who is really Ghanaian just because one have a Ghanaian passport or driving license because it can be issue to anybody , foreigners ! how many times do we not hear that some nationality have been arrested for using Ghanaian passport? how do they got that passport anyway? the whole noise about foreigners registering to vote is none sense because any foreigner can get Ghanaian passport . what they should be going to supreme court for is national identification DATA BASE! the supreme court should be careful not to put Ghana in to chaos. otherwise they would pay dearly for it. we would never forgive them , their actions is unacceptable! supreme court should stop interfering in to the EC internal affair! otherwise they (Supreme court) would be responsible to any chaos in Ghana!!!

I wonder from which angle this is coming from. Action of the SC being chaotic? What an admonition! Anyway over to you, Supreme Court.

Ghana needs a leader who sees and understands that corruption, bribery and all sorts of crime as a serious threat to its existence. One of the reasons why developed countries thrive is this basic truth. Why our leaders can't understand that is surprising. Please build more jails to incarcerate all these criminals who are busy plundering and raping this country. Please don't be stupid, there's wisdom in incarceration and that's why America, the champion of democracy has the largest prison population in the world.

The Chairman Dr. Wengam loves the Prisons Service. This is good but he now seems to be taking over the work of the Director-General of Prisons. The Prisons Service Council is an advisory body to the President on prison matters, but it is not in-charge of the day-to-day administration of the Service. The two roles are different and distinct and must always be kept so.

So for these number of years some of the inmates have spent behind bars don't we have some of the prisoners who are reformed and deserve to be pardon or get their sentences or punishment reprieve to ease the Congestion in the prisons. How often do the prison authorities recommend an inmate to be pardon? We should not be obsessed in punishing offenders, which put financial burden on civil society. At least those who have reform and become harmless should be given the second chance to restart their. If the authorities believe that none of the total number of inmates is reform then this asking of help from the public is tantamount to hypocrisy.
