The question is if someone is your friend, that person is awarded a contract which is inflated and later spent $100,000 on a gift to the friend. What will you classify this? This is not a wish, but a must do responsibility of the Supreme Court of Ghana, if the Supreme Court wants to be taken seriously, as the highest legal body of the land. Although, John Mahama chose Mrs. Osei for a purpose, he made a wrong choice, in the sense that Mrs. Osei doesn't possess the qualities it takes to execute that "job". Nature wonderfully takes care of all necessities, and the need to keep Ghana intact after this election is one of them. Therefore, the Supreme Court of Ghana has no choice, but deliver to Ghanaians, a new voters register. This is the wish of all well meaning Ghanaians, including you, Kwaku, John D. Mahama, the President of Ghana, and myself, Kokoa Ase Kuraasenii!

its only parliament that can change the laws and give that order to EC ! Aburamadan went to the supreme court for interpretation of the electoral law of Ghana. the supreme court asking the EC what they supreme court want is dangerous! now im a citizen of Ghana but i only have NHIS and driving license, and Ghanaian passport. which one should i use for the voter registration? the Ghanaian passport which is very easy for even a foreigner to get or driving license which any nationality can get? do they really know how those ID’S been issue? so you can't tell who is really Ghanaian just because one have a Ghanaian passport or driving license because it can be issue to anybody , foreigners ! how many times do we not hear that some nationality have been arrested for using Ghanaian passport? how do they got that passport anyway? the whole noise about foreigners registering to vote is none sense because any foreigner can get Ghanaian passport . what they should be going to supreme court for is national identification DATA BASE! the supreme court should be careful not to put Ghana in to chaos. otherwise they would pay dearly for it. we would never forgive them , their actions is unacceptable! supreme court should stop interfering in to the EC internal affair! otherwise they (Supreme court) would be responsible to any chaos in Ghana!!!

All the Political Parties looked away expecting to benefit from the error, may be. But now that they see their luck running out they rush to force the error fixed with barely any time left.

If the Akyem Mafia leading the demand for a new register were any attentive to the relevant issues from the beginning, that request should have been made along with the Election Petition to the SC. But even after the verdict on the Election Petition, it waited till too late.

Now, we all have to pray for the best of integrity in the EC to clean as much as possible and immediately redo the register after the Election.

If not, we must postpone the Elections till whenever a new register would be finished on the EC's schedule not any one Party's.

It is not fair to the EC to be forced to scramble in an election year to fix cumulated errors that have been ignored by all including the current opposition Parties to grow.

I bet my bottom dollar that had Akufo-Addo won the last elections he would have been even more obstinate in fixing anything wrong with our voters' register.

It is not NHIS card registrants that caused the NPP to lose but the Akyem Mafia would claim that.

The EC needs to do its best under the circumstances but must not blamed for the current mess.

A new register or expunging unqualified names from the register should have been possible but for the intransigence of the EC. The EC twisted and turned the SC decision and don't forget the NDC was the first to declare that EC will not remove names of registrants who had used NHIS cards, even before the EC came out on the matter. So it was the government and EC collaboration, nothing else. So don't shed any tears for the EC, they are singing the master's tune.
