Bob’s Tavern’ was right next door to a cemetery. One day in mid winter a drunk stumbled out of the tavern. Due to his drunk state he wasn’t careful where he was going and he fell into a freshly dug grave. “Help!” Screamed the drunk on the top of his lungs, “I’m freezing!” Before long another drunk sauntered out of the tavern and made his way towards the first drunk’s cries. “I’m freezing!” Screamed the first drunk again. “Of course you are” scolded the second drunk, coming closer. “You kicked off all of the dirt they had covered you with!”

The government, working together with the locals must explore ways to get jobs to this community so that the youth would be meaningfully employed. Kenyasi land is among the the most fertile in the whole country. In fact, every crop flourishes on Kenyasi lands. The floral and fauna of the place is so rich. Few years ago, bush meat was so abundant the chief of Kenyasi was selected as the chief hunter for the Asantehene. Unfortunately, however, the people are not able to make proper use of the land due to government's lack of initiative and the the apathy from the learned people in that area. I am sad that in the midst of so much plenty our people still suffer.

I'm a native of Kenyasi No.1 in the Brong Ahafo Region. Good citizens of Ghana, be informed that the reporter has twisted the news, better still what actually happened. It's true that Hwidiem - Kenyasi road is being re-constructed, that the contractor on reaching portion of the community cemetery which is not for royals and in the process clearing to widen the road sides chanced on some of gold bearing ore (rocks), people mostly from the twin towns of Kenyasi on hearing of the excavation rushed in their numbers to scramble for the ore as has always been the norm ever since Newmont Ghana Gold Limited started more mining in 2002 in the Ahafo Area. Truth must told. The story is not credible, it has been twisted. Further to that, the Kenyasi No.1 Traditional Council has been up and doing and thus wirh the able support of Ghana Police stopped the kinsmen.
