The nasty and unbridled behaviour of many of our so-called 'politicians' and their side kicks is becoming alarming and bordering on a threat to national peace and security. Free speech in a democratic environment comes with caution and common sense. What we see now is a total abuse of this free speech by our very inept and opportunistic politicians and their equally inept and more opportunistic 'serial callers
' and 'communicators'. Anyone with a modicum of sense would not subject the officers of our Electoral Commission and other public servants to the sort of abuse that the current EC Chairperson and her predecessor are subjected to. And the two major parties continue to refuse to bring their baying dogs to order since they need these hounds to do their dirty jobs for them. One or two of these MPs have descended so low into the gutter (where they seem to comfortably belong) that the least said about them the better. But they should not play with our motherland Ghana. If their stinking rhetoric leads to any trouble, they will be one of the first to pay for it. God bless Ghana

Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

NPP's moral principles are tied to loyalty to their demigod, Nana Akufo Addo. Any NPP member who dare conduct himself in a manner to be seen as not a yes-man of Akufo Addo is declared wrong and sanctioned accordingly. That is why they have several prominent members marginalized from party activities with some suspended and others dismissed etc - their services are not needed.
On the other hand any NPP member who is Akufo Addo's yesman, is declared "righteous'' and given a front role position in the party. He or she is free to do any wrong thing and receive approval from the party leadership regardless.
Kennedy Agyapong happens to belong to the yesman group hence his party leadership looks on in approval even when he is misbehaving to bring the name of the name of the NPP into disrepute. The funny part of NPP's tragedy is that, after repelling ordinary voters away from them for which reason they deservingly lose an election, they still think they have been robbed.

Kennedy Agyepong, MP, needs help. He needs a "handler".

Some people see the truth in a stark manner and want to get it out to the public, no matter what the cost. But once you enter politics,you must be more circumspect than say EVERYTHING that comes to your knowledge. Of course, no-one can engage in political life without getting himself or herself PROVOKED by the statements and actions of others. Politics is a CONTEST and contests inevitably involve aggression, which also triggers defensiveness. Neither emotion is healthy.

That is why politicians have handlers. Presidents and Prime Ministers employ media spokespersons. Even Donald Trump has someone who handles him (though he does not necessarily listen to that person all the time, judging from his off-the-cuff remarks!)

Kennedy Agyepong is obviously wealthy enough to employ a seasoned handler, who can sort him out privately.

The NPP should encourage him to obtain such help, for although he may think he is doing the party a useful service in bringing issues that face it and the nation to "ground level",
people often make the mistake of judging others "guilty by association". So the NPP should take Ace Ankomah's advice to heart. Bringing a by-heart person to book is difficult (otherwise he would not be a by-heart person!) but it must be tried!

Your "testimonial" to Charlotte is generous, but there is a proverb that you mustn't go to a funeral in an aggressive mood!

Charlotte must know that the political atmosphere in Ghana is extremely charged, following the rumours about Afari Gyan and the events leading to the Supreme Court decision.

In this atmosphere, even neutrality over issues can be mistaken for hostility towards a party with a grudge to overcome. So Charlotte should not be giving the impression that she is unbending, unbending and unbending. Well brought up ladies don't behave like arrogant "divas" in a public position where they are paid by tax-payers (and I hope you are teaching your daughters that!) Fr there are both gentlemen and scoundrels in a political party, and if you cannot stand the heat in their "kitchen", then you get out.

After all, if Charlotte is as knowledgeable as you imply, Mr Ankomah, she should have anticipated the strains on the job and adopted a far more "diplomatic" stance. After all, there are more ways of killing a cat.
