Ghanaians shouldn't condemn Ken Agyapong yet; he hardly makes any allegation without concrete proof and as such people ought to be cautious the way everyone is accusing him for what he just revealed on the airwaves. Rather, people should ask why the EC boss is being so recalcitrant esp. when the SC ordered her outfit to prune the voters' register?

It's so mind-boggling to note that the EC would do NDC's bidding in an election which will determine Ghana's direction towards progress in the coming months. Abu Ramadan and Evans Nimakoh have been to court asking for a clean voters' register while the EC, insists that it will not listen to people's demands for fairness.

A bloated register cannot guarantee any credible elections in Ghana. That's why there's the need to have a new register, which bears no NHIS card-holer registrants, minors or the deceased. Yet the EC after reluctantly agreeing to product the list in its poccession brought only 56,000 people instead of the 4 million which was mentioned initially. Former EC boss Kwadjo Afari Gyan had said about non-existence of such data. So how the EC got its figures just baffles one's mind. Let's see what happens next week.
