Under Mahama's leadership:

1. Ghana is issuing domestic Government bonds at 24.5% yield (interest rate). When government issues a bond, it means she is borrowing the money, expecting to pay back the borrowed money and the interest rate.

2. Ghana is issuing Euro bonds at 10.5% yield.

For those who don't understand finance and economic development, the economy of a country can't grow if its government is borrowing money at such high interest rates.

First domestic banks will not be willing to loan money to local businesses at rates below what the government is paying, meaning local businesses will not have the capital to employ people.

Second, because the government is paying such high interest rates on money borrowed, the government wouldn't have enough money for domestic programs.

If Mahama is telling the new graduates to start businesses without loan facilities for them, how does that make Mahama a qualified president.

Errors and incompetence should not pass silently. Ghana can do better than this.

Under JM's watch the Kumasi shoe factory had been revamped and currently provides jobs for over 200 people. This is a feat the NPP could not attain in 8 years. There is no difference between the purpose of JJ 's visit to the Flagstaff and being there to arouse or boost morality. JJ's mere visit alone is an inspiration to the Government. The matters purported to have been discussed is also ample evidence and as far as the success of the NDC Party is concerned. If matters discussed goes on well, not only is it going to benefit mother Ghana, the NDC shall also enjoy the achievement. This is like Nana Addo's visit to Rawlings; no matter what the reasons were, the paramount issue that comes to mind is the promotion of Unity.
