The question is if someone is your friend, that person is awarded a contract which is inflated and later spent $100,000 on a gift to the friend. What will you classify this? Let's say the person is not the president of Ghana. You guys are suffering and you are defending this nonsense. When there are too many fools in a country that is the end result.

I do not hear any condemnation if it favors Mahama, the only time we hear comments from people is when it is for Nana Akuffo Addo. But the truth must be told, who cares about the house of chiefs, the views of individual chiefs represents themselves and not that of the chieftaincy secretariat and I see nothing wrong with it. The people are really suffering and if the voices of the chiefs will result in change of leadership of the country, why not because the chief bear the brunt of the people who are agitating. Armed robbery has increased and we are losing our young men and women through shooting by the police. If the country is conducive for everyone, all these social ills will be minimized. Leave the chiefs alone. I believe the chiefs should continue to let their voices heard; this is not active politics. Active politics is mounting a political platform and campaigning. In the meantime no matter what anyone does, NOTHING, AND I SAY NOTHING, CAN STOP Nana Akuffo Addo from winning the elections in November, not even the EC. Time will tell.

We're in a country when chiefs and many opinion leaders are not truthful: we were all here when npp Ursula Owusu was assaulted at physically assaulted in Oddodiodoo constituency as she went there to canvass for npp supporters to register during the late Mills time by Nii Lante's men that the place is theirs and she can't come there to canvass, based on this Kenedy Agyapong spoke that the Ashantis should kill the Ewes and the Gas in Kumasi; what Kennedy said cannot be justified in anyway, but in my opinion his rage of spewing out of those hate words was based on what Nii Lante and his people did to Ursula but people including the security jumped on the throat of Kennedy. Some actions , inactions and pronouncements of are people are recipe for chaos and violence if not checked. Everyone including the clergy is jumping to fault Kennedy when he spewed garbage about the EC; what did these people when Ursula suffered at the hand of her political opponents? Is she not a woman like the EC? Or do we live in the Animal Farm Era when some people are more important than others. That amounts to Selective Justice and Hypocricy.

The reason Ghana is in such a bad political position is because of the Chiefs not exercising the authorities as the rulers of the lands that make up Ghana. Chief being barred from engaging in reviewing and directing their subjects in their choice making of Political Candidates is what has set this country backward.

We are a country with culture and traditional values. Because of abject democracy, laws have been instituted to subject our citizenry to lies and deceit by people who go into politics for self gain. I love democracy and its values but pushing chieftancy and the traditions of the land is chaotic to the progressive development of our various communities.

If Ghana were to allow all chiefs to rule in their stead and direct the affairs of their subjects, the right candidates will be easily identified to take on the political Mantle and serve the needs of the people of each of our communities.

Because of politics for business, individuals who are not from constituencies live in their luxury in the capital and only visit to buy votes so that they can get into parliaments and leverage that to make money.

This is thievery and unconstitutionally biased democracy.
