The 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says his message for this year’s elections is on job creation, hinged on the industrialisation of the economy and the modernisation of agriculture.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo, the claim by President John Mahama that the NPP has no message is laughable, because the party, since 2008, has remained consistent with the message of industrialising Ghana’s economy, whereas President Mahama’s message-less campaign is evident in the refrain “e dey bee keke”.

“Mahama says we in the NPP have no message. His message of ‘e dey bee k?k?’ is one I will never put before the Ghanaian people. Is ‘e dey bee k?k?’ a message? What do you understand by ‘e dey bee k?k?’? If this is the kind of message he wants from the NPP, he will never get it,” the NPP flagbearer stressed.

He continued: “Our message is about bringing jobs to the people of Ghana – reviving our economy, and improving and diversifying our agriculture. That is the business we are coming to do [when the NPP wins this year’s elections].”

They will fight even their own when it comes to sharing of food and sleeping space; they don’t have any schedules in their pattern of life; each of them will do anything at any time. It also takes them a very long time to make friends among themselves and other creatures in their environs. Their kind of friendship does not last as it is often characterised by mischief and mistrust.

This is a fact of life about some humans also. They love their own like “h3n Akanfo oo” “Obia de3 mienu mienu” “at all cost “all die be die” very desperate at anything even when the liberties has been well defined. Like the cat they will always run away with fish even when you have freely offered it.

From his demeanour, family background, utterances, actions and inactions it is becoming more obvious who Nana Addo Dankwa Akkufo Addo aka “Odikro of no town” whose futile and nonsensical evidence presented to the great court of the land, champion by his “HIP POP LIAR Political Economist” Dr. Bawumia to deprive millions of Ghanaians a true choice is gradually becoming known to all.

It was by his actions that sent a grey signal to stakeholders of this country and scared majority of businesses especially the multi nationals and some local entrepreneurs to withhold their vibrant activities due to widespread of war mongering and collateral damage meted out to life and properties (especially when one considers the serial market burnings) which was looming in the country all because Nana Addo and his men have lost an election and they are simply refusing to accept defeat; when it was very glare that they have lost.

His great grandfather (JB Danquah) did same to Nkrumah and his father (Edward Akkufo Addo) followed the same traits, who was later imprisoned and now it is Nana Addo’s turn. Walata lahi !!! we shall stop you and bury you forever !!!

He is leading a campaign of indiscipline and has so far portrayed no decency in mannerism, character or in speech. His proverbial ill character in the use of vile words against his opponents is very abhorring and anti-social. His public speeches are out of date and have no connection with current trends of social developments. .

Unfortunately he is deep into it there is something wrong with the chemical constituents that form the brain of these Dankwas/ Busia’s? Are there no wise men among them? Who recouped the 3.5% shares of dubious EO for Ghana? Who built the T3 THERMAL PLANT in Takoradi to help power supply? Who completed the Bui Dam? Who completed the Single Spine Structure against all odds? Who was the first president ever to achieve 8% inflation rate in Ghana? Who achieved the fastest growth rate (11-13% GDP) ever in Ghana? I can't even mention 1 million ton cocoa production, schools built, etc. all in a period of 3yrs. (1) corruption could not be irradicated because it was part of human kind since it started in the days of Adam and Eve, and that it was as old as creation itself.

(2) That many people had attempted to bribe him with loads of money but he had asked them to hold on and come later because the time was not ripe then. Since then numerous corruption scandals have broken out in the Kufuor administration, a few significant ones of which are listed below. Readers are particularly encouraged to rejoin this article with knowledge of any hidden corrupt practices in the Kufuor government that they know of, but which have not been captured yet. We undertake to treat all information in this regard with the utmost confidentiality deserving of a newspaper of our calibre.

** Ghanaians would remember that barely a year ago the former Chairman of the NPP Mr. Haruna Esseku, personally accused President Kufuor of receiving bribes(kick backs) from Contractors, and that the President had turned his office at the Castle into an NPP finance office and was personally disbursing monies for party activities thereby sidelining him and the party executives. The president had since not been able to deny Esseku’s revelations. As a result of those revelations Mr. Haruna Esseku has been ostricised from the party and prevented from contesting the Chairmanship of the NPP at their last congress in Legon in 2006.

** Mr. Eric amoateng, I do not know whether to call him honourable or dishounourable, a serving NPP Member of Parliament for Nkoranza North has been arrested in the United States of America for smuggling drugs into that country, said to be worth some six million dollars($6,000,000). Eric Amoateng the dishonourable has since voluntarily pleaded guilty to the crime and is now awaiting sentencing in the United states.

** Alhaji Moctar Musa Bamba, former Member of Parliament for Wenchi East and Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs was accused by a colleague minister of visa racketeering, forgery and extortion of money. The interesting aspect of this scandal was that Alhaji Bamba had his office at he corridor to President Kufuor’s office at the Castle. Yet he had the guts to carry out such nefarious activities right under the nose of the President at the highest corridor of power in this land without flinching for a second. The worst or was it the best that President Kufuor could do in such a case was to ask Bamba to leave quietly.

** President Kufuor himself who should have been the epitome of morality as the number one citizen, the father of this nation was accused of fornication and adultery by his former Economic and Financial Adviser MS. GIZEL YATZY, who claimed on public radio that she had had an affair with the President for over a year.

The affair she claimed had resulted in her having twins with President Kufuor whom she named Phillip and John. President Kufuor even though confronted at public fora on a number of times had staunchly refused to speak on the issue. The example this disgraceful behaviour gives to Ghanaians of a public official taking advantage of his position to morally corrupt an employee working directly under him is instructive indeed. What lessons in morality and uprightness does this episode teach our youth and children.?

You and others live luxuriously at the expense of most Ghanaians not because you are the most intelligent and the most competent person in Ghana but simply because NDC is in power. It is the animal farm strategy being used to ride on the backs of Ghanaians. God is watching us all. In Britain, even the prime minister believes in the will of the people and will prefer to resign if his will is thrown away by the people. At the core of Hanna Tetteh's statement is the issue of foreign policy vis-a-vis the current global climate where there seems to be very strong push-pull undercurrents and forces which would determine the trajectory of history for the next century and in this election, the issue of foreign policy-a subject not really broached in the public space, would be a very important determinant in the politics and development of Ghana.
Given the history of Africa and the emancipation efforts of the continent against foreign domination and imperialism, with Africa now seen as the last frontier of globalization efforts, the foreign policy positions of the major political parties would increasingly exert a lot of weight and have electoral significance. Is it going to be "we neither look to the East or to the West", or the "dzi wo fi3 a3m" or what?
Clearly, Hanna Tetteh's statement underscores the "dzi wo fi3 as3m" policy but has that been truly the foreign policy position of the NDC gov't? It remains to be seen.
In as much as Ghana has had enough of the Mahama NDC gov't and their loss at the polls is a certainty, this statement from Hanna Tetteh throws the gauntlet to the major political parties to a foreign policy debate on the positions of these parties and it must be had in view of the current geo-political climate and challenges.
Hanna Tetteh maybe leaving office together with John Mahama in November but it must be said, she is a shrewd operator.

Charlotte Osei (née Kesson Smith) was born on 1 February 1969. Osei was born in Nigeria; her mother is of Nigerian nationality.

Just funny that you Prince Kwasi Adade is taking Colin Bloom stance serious. Go to UK and see the mess they have caused the British economy with their ill-advised 'LEAVE EURO' campaign and vote. They wanted to exit the EU yet these conservatives are scared for now to trigger the EU Article50 to begin talks for UK's pull out from the EU bcos of future uncertainty of their economy. Shamefully he is in Ghana talking about free mobility of labour yet the underpin of BRIXIT is their anti free movement of EU citizens into the UK.
Bloom should spare us the noise and sort out UK's mess first before before advising Ghanaians on whom to vote for.

I believe the tone of language employed by the Minister was a bit Harsh. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, that aside Ghana is not an island; actually we are that important to the world which includes Mr. Bloom.

The 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says his message for this year’s elections is on job creation, hinged on the industrialisation of the economy and the modernisation of agriculture.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo, the claim by President John Mahama that the NPP has no message is laughable, because the party, since 2008, has remained consistent with the message of industrialising Ghana’s economy, whereas President Mahama’s message-less campaign is evident in the refrain “e dey bee keke”.

“Mahama says we in the NPP have no message. His message of ‘e dey bee k?k?’ is one I will never put before the Ghanaian people. Is ‘e dey bee k?k?’ a message? What do you understand by ‘e dey bee k?k?’? If this is the kind of message he wants from the NPP, he will never get it,” the NPP flagbearer stressed.

He continued: “Our message is about bringing jobs to the people of Ghana – reviving our economy, and improving and diversifying our agriculture. That is the business we are coming to do [when the NPP wins this year’s elections].”
