The 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says his message for this year’s elections is on job creation, hinged on the industrialisation of the economy and the modernisation of agriculture.
According to Nana Akufo-Addo, the claim by President John Mahama that the NPP has no message is laughable, because the party, since 2008, has remained consistent with the message of industrialising Ghana’s economy, whereas President Mahama’s message-less campaign is evident in the refrain “e dey bee keke”.
“Mahama says we in the NPP have no message. His message of ‘e dey bee k?k?’ is one I will never put before the Ghanaian people. Is ‘e dey bee k?k?’ a message? What do you understand by ‘e dey bee k?k?’? If this is the kind of message he wants from the NPP, he will never get it,” the NPP flagbearer stressed.
He continued: “Our message is about bringing jobs to the people of Ghana – reviving our economy, and improving and diversifying our agriculture. That is the business we are coming to do [when the NPP wins this year’s elections].”

Ghanaian passport, driving license,NHIS, or birth certificate? which one of this identification is credible in Ghana?
how many time do we not hear that foreigners have been arrested for using Ghanaian passport? how many Ghanaians have birth certificate? many Ghanaians don't even know their birthday! so how many Ghanaian can produce accurate birth certificate from 1960s, 70s and even 1990s? so even if we have new register today there will still be a problems for its not going to be credible register.politicians are the problems because they never calls for proper identifying Ghanaians. only in the election time everyone of them is blaming the EC. the EC never issue Identification for Ghanaians so they can't be blame for none credible voter register! ever since we get independent from 1957 what were the politicians doing about Ghanaian identification DATA BASE? because all of them is thinking of cheating to win power at all cost! all the political parties are guilty for this because if free and fair election is really important for them , they should have do something about the credible Ghanaian identification. the should stop disturbing us with this nonsense!

Charlotte Osei simply has misunderstood the "independent" character of The Electoral Commission: Being an independent institution does not necessarily mean EC is not accountable to the stakeholders or the electorate or the people, otherwise also known as the CONSTITUTION. Even the President is accountable to the people. If the Executive appointed her, it did so because the constitution (the People) mandated it, so how did she get the impression that she's been handed a license to DICTATE to us, and not be accountable to anybody?
I remember when The EC changed the EC logo against public outrage, The EC head said "we did it...we like it". Hello Mrs Osei, it's NOT about you doing what you "like", but public interest. This is a PUBLIC FUNDED institution to begin with. This explains this woman's mentality and her understanding of the "independent" label assigned to that public institution she heads.
Since this woman was appointed, besides NDC govt, she's incensed every stake holder including the Supreme Court. She MUST understand that the PEACE or SECURITY of this country will depend on electing a LEGITIMATE govt, but that could ONLY happen if we have a nationally ACCEPTABLE CREDIBLE Voters Register. But do we have one Mrs Osei? If we don't, it doesn't require a graduate degree in law to figure out that we do NEED one ok? What's she doing about it? This woman is really testing the patience of otherwise mild-mannered Ghanaians. Charlotte Osei MUST shed off her ego and arrogance and approach her work in a BALANCED manner, because so far ONLY Mahama's NDC govt subscribes to her twisted approach, albeit in favour of that incumbent govt. This is WRONG and will NATURALLY be RESISTED by the frustrated populace. Ken Agyepong's statement against her is no doubt an expression of frustration. Providing evidence to prove his point is up to him. But I can see many people expressing their frustration in DIFFERENT ways and forms which nobody has control over how people will do it. All comes down to this woman being called to order and approach her work with ALL the FAIRNESS it deserves.
