Mr Opoku Mensah an aide to Chairman Wuntomi has this to say about the NPP primaries at Manhyia.
"The NPP had lost its identity and had now become the preserve of the rich, who were actively buying votes to win internal elections.

For that reason, he wondered if the NPP had the moral right to accuse Mr John Mahama of using state resources to pay bribes and buy votes, when the outcome of its own polls was questionable".
Some of us have always known that the NPP strategy of labeling the President as corrupt was just a ploy to hide their own massive corruption in their party. if there was ever a doubt, Chairman Wuntomi's aide has erased all that. Now we know NPP better.

What have we Ghanaians done to deserve such threats, fear and panic because a one useless, ugly,divisive and tribalistic 73 year old man wants to be a President of Ghana at all costs? Personally, I pity fellow Ghanaians including some members of the clergy seeing this over spent old man as messiah for Ghana. Can't that old man read about the gentleness of Biblical Mose,Joshua, king David, Prime Minister of Egypt Joseph only to mention a few? It's always advisable that before somebody is nominated or selected to lead our country Ghana, we check to know the background of such a character. The achievement of such a character in the past can be used as a yardstick for his or her selection. His mannerism and utterances should be determined in such direction. What significant achievement did he chalk as a person?. Did his attitude and achievement impacted on other fellow human beings?. Is he a man of peace or violent? What significant work did he do from his childhood days? These are typical examples that can help Ghanaians ensure that the safety of Ghana is left in the hands of a good leader. Not a careless leader who will sheepishly plunge Ghana into a civil war. Not a leader who will cause the death of anybody who stands against his order or authority. Not a leader who instantly suspends anybody who stands his way. No No No No that will be a DESASTER to mother Ghana. Torfiakwa to such a leader been imposed on mother Ghana!
