In my village authorities always make sure emergency exits are always free in the event of emergency. If you block emergency exits with kiosks and shops they cease to remain EMERGENCY EXITS. PERIOD!

However, accident,incidents or near miss are the driving force for registration.so I think the Design on future public buildings/places should factor these in their design and the Authorities should make sure duty holders take responsibility for their failures.it is time Ghanaians adopt health and safety in our daily life.nothing works in Ghana when it comes to safety issues.
Some of us are giving our expertise to our second country and would be happy to come home and help our own.

we have true northerners like dagati, frafra , kusasi, bulsa, gonja, konkombas, dagomba kasena etc. the only true northrners who are mostly moslims are dagomba, gonja, wala and mamprusi; all the rest are mostly christians. dagati, frafra,kusasi, konkomba, bulsa, bimoba, grusi, lobi.

In a country where laws are flaunted, people die needless and preventable deaths. There's no reason why those people had to die because of the emergency exists being blocked. Whoever heard of such a thing before? Emergency exists are designed to allow occupants of a building a quick exist in case of trouble. The families of the deceased should file lawsuits against the event organizers and the building owner for their negligence. The country needs to become more litigious so that people can be held accountable for their negligence.
