What those called Leaders (Mr Mahama ect... ) doing about the People who are using his authority killing MPs, innocent Citizens for free, robbing Gvt's Coffers,making harships in the Country and giving fears to Supteme JUDGES who are the Drivers driving the whole COUNTRY(GHANA)with its CONSTITUTION and INSTITUTIONS.

Ghanaians will always have to do some soul searching. We cannot refuse our identity as a people, as a nation; where we've come from and our future. Ghana's smooth path to prosperity was marred by strings of coups and military uprising and disruptions.

Take the June 4 and December 31 coups as examples. Boakye Gyan, Rawlings, Akata Porri and a bunch of juniour ranking soldiers seized power and started their so-called revolution that would lead Ghana unto "Sugar mountain" where there would be no sadness--only JOY "UNLIMITED!"

Led by Flt. Lt Jerry John Rawlings they accused Ghanaians of "Kalabule" and graft. In those dark years, Rawlings and his henchmen lined up Army Officers and executed them by firing squad at the Teshie Military Range. Prominent Ghanaians, notably of Akan descent. When the military seized power, many Ghana thought Ghana was heading towards progress. But to the surprise of many, Akans had become targets of AFRC/P-NDC.

After the execution of the army officers, many Akan business people were targeted; they were tagged as enemies of the "revolution" and saboteurs of Ghana's economic development--many were chased out of the country, never to return. TATA Brewery, ITG, ALPINO SOAP, KOWUS MOTORS and BOAKY MATRESS, just to name a few were victims. While Ghanaians and their families went through such horrible ordeals, the soldiers organized their cadres of the revolution: CDRs, PDCs and WDCs and the youth mostly college and university students, to engage in self help chores and projects, like carrying cocoa and farm produce, from farms and villages to produce centres, amid chanting "we no go sit down make them cheat us everyday" and "let the blood flow" among others. Anyone who refused to commend the atrocities and brutalities by the gang of soldiers was tagged as "enemy of the revolution!" They preached about "freedom and justice; probity and accountability" in those dark years. I remember Rawlings asking Ghanaians why some families could afford to send their wards to schools abroad, why some families could own housed 2-3 toilet facilities while other could not? Anytime he asked such rhetorical questions there was loud shouts of Juniour Jesus, let the blood flow.

It turns out that the very people who asked all those stupid questions, sent their children abroad to study; found nothing wrong with owning multiple of mansions, petrol filling stations--reminds me of George Owell's ANIMAL FARM. There was no freedom of speech or freedom of movement as some prominent Ghanaians, like late Professor Adu Boahen and others were being monitored 24/7. In such exercises, some of Ghana's noble High Court Justices were hauled from their homes in the middle of the night and murdered. No-one could dare accuse Rawlings and his military dictators; "who born dog?" One dare make and noise and you'll know that: "man pass man!"

It wasn't until ex-Prez Kuffour's regime, when Nana Akufo-Addo was the Attourney General that gov't decided to repeal the criminal libel law, paving the way for free press and freedom of expression by citizens of the land. Else, who is Mugabe and his friend in crime to issue death threats to our Supreme Court Justices? The repeal of the criminal libel law was indeed good; it allowed Ghana media especially, to investigations into serious crimes and allegations, such as the recent Mahama's Ford Expedition saga.

Ghanaians should rise up and fight off John Mahama and his gang of criminals, who're working day and night to hang on to power, even when it's clear that they have come to their wits end; they don't have anything good to offer Ghana. The corruption and thievery going on in gov't is appalling.

NDC is working tirelessly behind the scenes and manipulating the Charlotte Osei-led Electoral Commission to do their bidding amid all the questions and electoral disputes--bloated voters' register--including allowing Togolese, Burkinabe and Ivorian nationals to register with NHIA cards to vote. It's time for Ghanaians esp. the youth to stage massive demonstrations across the nation, to ask the Supreme Court to order the Electoral Commission to compile a truly credible voters' register. That's the only way to guarantee a truly free and fair elections.
