  Govt. has been collecting from us citizens 10% energy levy EVERY DAY ALL THIS TIME!! So where did the monies collected go before now? INTO TREASURY BILLS FOR NDC EXECUTIVES HEADING THE VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS? HEAVENS ABOVE!!

  How on Earth do we run our country. No sensible responsible Western Government will tax their people and give it to companies or corporations. Government could have used this money for lots of development projects. Do they even know how many untarred roads we have in Ghana. It's simple, companies and corporations should be independent entities run on free market ideologies with profit and loss policies. Government taxes and money should be used for the good of the people.

  Kojo, unfortunately our gov'ts see our state institutions as cashcows, and populate them with their cronies, party operatives and relatives. The only requirement is sadly NOT MANAGERIAL COMPETENCE, but a willingness to accede to govt. officials' insatiable lust for "FREE" funds. They therefore see these institutions as THEIR PIGGY BANKS.

  The Oboma administration did the same by using tax payers money to bail out the banks and big corporations in the Wall Street during the depression immediately after he took Office. Skeptics and people or rather Hippocrates in the likes of you who did not want Obama to succeed were very voiceferous in condemning him for using tax payers money to bail out Wall Street. The good news is, it worked perfectly well. You can oppose every move the president under takes but still MAHAMA will be retained with a One Touch victory.

The corporate institutions were to pay back all the money with interest. Don't compare the 2 situations.
