We observe all countries that achieved development did not have their so called leaders walking away with billions but failed regimes all enriched the families and friends of the imposter leader with no loyalty to the people , like Libya , Iraq , Syria , Saudi Arabia or north Korea. Roosevelt , Stalin willy Brandt , Mao did not have their favored ones becoming rich rather they served and brought their people into the better age. Yes the arrangements to rig the elections are already in place as they think we will not stand and fight. This criminal mafia with its vice hold on our future will not go away without war and bloodshed even though they know they are despised by the majority . We see Mahama on tour and notice its mainly bad guests who have overstayed their welcome such as zongo boys , northerners , minorities and Muslims turning up in their masses as they know they now oppress and plunder the majority . Theirs is a tribalism/hegemony hate of of the majority Akans agenda and the end will only be misery and death. So wicked and dark are their thoughts of hate they are blind to the hardship and cry of our people in pain and wish to bring us more evil. We must never withdraw but prepare to fight for our freedom as freedom is not won through fake elections. Half of the Npp are angry just because THEY are not the ones plundering and looting , the other half have no clue what time it is and still thing there is a Ghana to save. Their ranks are infiltrated by the same Muslims , minorities and wanna be criminal element with corruption in their souls . The NDC on the other hand is a hopeless case of hardened criminals with no shame . We must arise and let them know we also count .

1. The execution of infrastructural projects provide job opportunities.
2. There is money in people's pockets to spend and generate a feel good factor.
3. People pay income tax out of their earnings to boost national revenue.
4. Roads connect markets and promote distribution of goods and services, all of which are ingredients of economic development.
5. Social intervention projects such as schools and hospitals create an enabling environment for economic activity.
If I, a lay person with no training in Economics, can see the benefits above, why can't the Predident and his economic advisors? For the Predident to say that people do "eat roads" and give a "class one" explanation shows the intelligence and competence of our leaders.

These include, the Karpower plant, Ameri, TTP, Asogli, Kpone power plant and others. According to our Constitution, he is the number 1 citizen of Ghana and we as citizens ought to protect him as it is our responsibility. to some extent it is a good argument but if the agric products are not produced on a large scale then what happens? it will be best if measures are put in place to increase food productivity and construct good roads as well.

We don't eat roads but we need roads to transport what we eat from hardworking farmers in the hinterland to lazy consumers and chronic complainers in the cities. Let those saying we don't eat roads to stop their parasitic dependence on Govt and take to farming for just one year, they would appreciate that farmers also need the comforts of good life such as tarred roads. Better to share the national cake equitably by building roads, schools and hospitals than giving the money to parasitic Govt workers with a penchant for strikes and noise making.

It is a silly comment that we don't eat roads. It is those that don't travel outside Ghana that would think road construction is not a priority to our development. If the road from Xevi to Weta were to be motorable, I would have brought in an investor to establish a factory in that part of the region. I personally would have established a school in one of the towns (name withheld) where the road network is currently in a deplorable condition. Therefore, they must know that road construction is a vital developmental project in Ghana. It's unfortunate that politics has blinded some fanatics in this country.

You will agree with me that in the developed world, leaders are scaled by gainful employment numbers because at the end of the day, man must put something on his kitchen table to feed the family. Roads can be constructed which leads to no where. That means, nothing gainful or useful can be derived from it if individuals cannot use it to their advantage.

Mr. Mahama who claimed to be communication expert is wanton in his responses to questions which makes me doubt about his wisdom. He is educated but his utterances are sometimes lack sense.
