How difficult is it to select a day in November instead of a specific date? Ato Dadzie cited the American system but obviously does not understand it. American elections day permanently set by law. Election Day in the United States of America is the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. It can fall on or between November 2 and November 8.
Setting it on a day such as this is better than selecting a particular date as Ghana has done with November 7. There demerit of Ghana's system the fluctuation of days. For example, how about if November 7 falls of either a Friday or Sunday when most would prefer to go to a church or mosque to worship rather than be in a long queue to vote?

Sir, your comments on NCCE is rather unfortunate, I suggest as a statesman you could come closer to any of the NCCE offices either in the regions or district and see the good work that our enabled staff are doing with the little resources. You can also contact the national purse bearers and ascertain for yourself how much is allocated to the NCCE even in this political season as compared to other state institutions concerned with electoral and national issues. But upon all that we make all efforts to do our best. We have the qualification, skills and knowledge as in other institutions and always willing to exhibit to uphold democracy in Ghana. Again will you please talk to the President to appoint a Chairman for the Commission to augment the good works that the honourable two deputy chairmen are doing. We appreciate you Sir
