Ghanaba, you are focused on the wrong thing here, the residents of his own district voted against him in favor of Zenator; this was a sign of no confidence in him, that should be your takeaway from this whole election. He has proven to be ineffective to his base so they voted him out. All these old men in Parliament sitting around collecting their salary and bribes and chasing little girls around town in their government cars. The people are tired of it and they voted their conscience that's all. He and people like you should be focused on why his own people voted him out instead of some foolishness about who was eligible to run for the office and who was not. His reaction to the loss tells you he only cares about his position and not what he can do for the people. Is he has no other career to pursue besides parliament? If he really wants to help his community, he can do so very well and effectively outside of Parliament; why does he NEED to be in Parliament if not for the benefits and or prestige? The party should only insist on the party card, and also insist that one can only be their parliamentary candidate if he/she is a registered voter at the time of filing with the EC. Afterall the EC does registration of new voters at least six months before campaigns begin and eight months before the elections.

The issue is at the time of the processes was zanetor qualified to contest that election? If a drug lord or a convict maneuver his or her way to become a president or a legislator and after it comes into public domain, the law must be applied simple. let us don't let people feel as if the laws governing civilians are different from technological world. this is the reason why technology has taken world to this far because engineering laws are explicitly discipline and has only one straight forward interpretation. Rawling's are becoming knives in our necks and it must be stopped simple.
