It is so sad to see ourselves live in a state of fear and panic like this. Ghana is gone to the dogs. Ghana has turned to a murderous state. Three judges were murdered only because they worked hard to protect the integrity of the law courts. A whole president was miraculously murdered by his own vice because the latter was being investigated for taking steps to dupe the country when he John Ford Expedition Dramani Mahama led the processes that committed Ghana to the purchase of the grossly bloated Embraer 190 Aircraft and hanger purchase. In 2008, the Armed Forces had negotiated to acquire a hangar at USD5m. Two years later, Vice President Mahama returns from Rio de Janeiro with a cost of USD 17m, a whopping difference of USD12m. Also truthful is that an extra fuel tank on the Aircraft cost USD8m even as the staircase was said to be worth USD1m; thence the death of the ailing president bringing the investigation to an abrupt end.
That apart, we see some current day parliamentarians and leading members of the opposition party being slaughtered by these same NDC evil devils while the BNI and the police stand and stair or even play a role protecting these criminals. How could we allow ourselves to be overridden by these hardened criminals bent to distort, destroy and disturb the peaceful state we inherited from John Agyekum Kuffuour and NPP? It appears we are under a military rule. John Ford Mahama is playing the role of criminally inclined hypocrite, pretending not to be aware of the foolish things going on in the country. This foolish leader should rather call for these traitorous individuals threatening to kill judges to be slaughtered in full glare of the public in like manner as the normal firing squad only to deter others from engaging is such crazy stupidity.
Alister, Ako Gunn, Maase and all those involved in the plot to kill Supreme Court Judges must be given the whip by means of a firing squad so that this foolishness would cease to exist.

Frank,the phones will work but the social media spreads faster than a phone call,if somebody sends you a click it is just a matter of clicking it back to another person within seconds instead of dialing a phone number which the person may either take immediately or not take and narrating the story may differ and take a longer time as compare to social media which is the same message spreading around.

The IGP is just creating confusion in the country with that social ban message,it is not necessary,the social media has the bad side and the good side also,we did not have social media in the past but we had election violence in some parts of the country and continue to do so in some parts of the country even in our primary elections,let us not introduce that backwardness to Ghana.

Time to react. The IGP is playing with match sticks. Its time to test the powet of Social Media to protect free speech in Ghana. I believe Ghanaians on social media must use begin using social media to mobilise and threaten mass street protests the same day social media is blocked in Ghana, whether there is an electio or not. We are not in Turkey, Iran, Chad, Uganda or Zimbabwe. We cherish our freedom even in the face of hardships and risks. No such crackdown should be tolerated even once because it will extended radio and mobile phones to shut us the citizenry out of monitoring and commenting on the 2016 election and it's aftermath. Government and the opposition, both of whom are prone to telling lies and over exaggerated propaganda, will be our only sources of information. We cannot place our security in their selfish hands. Most of us trust our fellow citizens than the authorities including the police themselves. A social media blackout is a totally unnecessary inconvenience in a modern liberal democracy, designed to disable the citizenry ability to monitor and comment on the elections, exchange foots and shape public opinions about the fairness and cleaness of the election results. The IGPs excuse is an opening ruse that will be blatantly abused. Other social media users on site can easily counter or minimise misleading reports posted on social only if access is kept open to all users, just as one single user managed reveal Nana Aba Anamoah's Old Trafford gaffe of photohopping herself into a crowd of Man U supporters.

Lets say for instance if NDC criminals snatch ballot boxes and someone is present with their camera, they will capture it because sometimes, the police will stand and stair, doing nothing about an occurance especially when NDC is acting mischievously, the police will always look unconcerned because they have been bribed to do same. We want Mr. Kudalor to know that we will use our camera, cell-phones and other gadgets to support the reportage so he must tell Mahama that his plans are listened to but we wont take it.

Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all Ghanaians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation.

The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing one another and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 year war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country.

The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia, South Sudan and Rwanda. To have a better knowledge of this, please watch the documentary/movie called _"Hotel Rwanda"_ or _"Sometime in April"._

OF MATTERS/CASES AND FOR THAT MATTER IT IS RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED THAT
THE AFRICAN-UNION NOT TO PULL OUT OF THE ICC, THERETO.
HOWEVER, THE AFRICAN-UNION INSTEAD OF PULLING OUT OF THE ICC TO HUMBLY
CONSIDER TO REMAIN WITHIN THE ICC AND TO CONSIDER TO ADOPT THE
FOLLOWING POLICY PERSPECTIVES MEASURES:
(i) THE AFRICAN-UNION TO HAVE REPRESENTATIVES ON THE ICC SINCE THAT
WILL BE SEEN AS GIVEN VOICE AND LEVERAGE TO THE AFRICAN-UNION.
THIS IS BECAUSE PROFESSIONAL LAWYERS FROM AFRICA ESPECIALLY THE
CLASSIFICATIONS OF BARRISTERS, ADVOCATES AND SOLICITORS PROFESSIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS ARE STILL NOT DETERMINED BY THE COMPARATIVE ADVANTAGE
EDGE THAT PROFESSIONAL LAWYERS FROM THE FORMER EASTERN EUROPEAN
COUNTRIES AND UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAVE OVER THE CLASS OF
BARRISTERS< ADVOCATES AND SOLICITORS.

THE SAME LEVERAGE OF COMPETITIVE EDGE IN THE WORLD AND WITHIN THE
UNITED NATIONS AND THE ICC.

(ii) THAT THE AFRICAN_UNION NEEDS TO ADOPT A STRATEGY OF GOOD
GOVERNANCE, TRANSPARENCY, PROMOTION OF CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY, THE
RULE OF LAW, FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, PEACE, PROSPERITY AND DEVELOPMENT.
(iii) THAT THE AFRICAN-UNION TO BE SEEN TO HELP IN THE ERADICATION OF CORRUPTION OF POLITICAL/PUBLIC OFFICIALS, THE ELIMINATION OF IMPERSONATION/IDENTITY THEFT AND INTERNET RELATED/CYBER CRIMES FOR THE CONTINENT.

(iv) THAT THE AFRICAN-UNION TO HELP ELIMINATE TRIBALISM, TRIBAL/ETHNIC RELATED CONFLICTS FROM THE CONTINENT AND TO FIGHT POVERTY, HUNGER, DISEASE FROM THE CONTINENT, THERETO.

(v) THAT THE AFRICAN-UNION TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE EDUCATION AND TO HELP ERADICATE IGNORANCE AND MEDIOCRITY FROM THE CONTINENT.

(vi) THAT THE AFRICAN-UNION TO HELP PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE INFORMATION SHARING IN THE 21ST CENTURY WORLD THAT QUALITY INFORMATION IS VERY NECESSARY OF THE FACILITATION AND PROMOTION OF QUALITY DECISION MAKING PROCESS IN VIEW OF THE FACT THAT THE WORLD IS NOW SEEN AS "A GLOBAL VILLAGE CONNECTED AND INTER_CONNECTED WITH THE WEB OR THE INTERNET" AND FOR THAT THE AFRICAN-UNION CANNOT BE SEEN TO RENEGE ON THESE RELATED 21ST CENTURY WORLD PILLARS OF DEVELOPMENTAL TOOLS, THERETO.

(vii) THAT THE AFRICAN-UNION TO ENCOURAGE AND TO PROMOTE HARD WORK, DEDICATION< COMMITMENT AND PERSEVERANCE AND TO HELP ADEQUATELY REWARD SAME TO SERVE AS MOTIVATION.

(ix) AND ANY OTHER(S) ISSUES THAT MAY OR MIGHT ARISE, THEREFROM.

IT IS THEREFORE AT THESE RELATED BACKDROPS AND IN VIEW ALSO OF THE FACT THAT "LAW IS A TOOL OF AND FOR PROMOTION OF PEACE, SECURITY, UNITY, PROSPERITY AND DEVELOPMENTS" THAT THE UNITED NATIONS NEED AN INSTITUTION TO ADJUDICATE MATTERS AND THE ICC IS ONE OF THOSE JUDICIAL WING OF THE UNITED NATIONS AND THEREFORE I RESPECTFULLY URGE THE AFRICAN-UNION NOT TO PULL OUT OF THE ICC BUT TO HAVE A VOICE AND REPRESENTATION OF THE ICC, THERETO.

Old age is a beautiful thing but not when it comes to leadership like that of a president. I like this man's (Nana Addo) charisma and humour but I think he is too old to be elected as a president. At the age of 70 years your thinking capacity and ways of analysing and executing issues is depreciated even if you are on medication. One must have seen too much in life at the age of 70yrs especially in the past and this alone justifies ones judgement about the present and the future.

I mean with all due respect, how is a president going to make decisions for the future of a country when he’s not going to be around? Being a president is like being a ‘verb’ which literally means action. A president must be active in the day to day activities of a country no matter how many people are surrounded by him/her. A president must be seen doing stuff like cheering the people on, inspiring the people, uniting the people, running with the people, visiting communities, helping the people, doing hard work with the people in other to motivate them since action speaks lauder than words! Please tell me how a president at the age of 70yrs would do all these and still have enough strength left to continue running a country.

This is the 21st Century, Ghana and for that matter Africa needs young and matured brilliant leaders with fresh mentality to transform the life of the people and not leaders with 1st and 2nd world war mentality. The world has moved on long time ago and it is still advancing and Africa must catch up and not left behind. The masses are rising and discerning and the old ways of doing things are no more. A modern nation needs a modern technology and not archaic philosophies.

Ghanaians must do the mathematics and know that this presidential candidate is too old. He is a grandpa and we all know what grandfathers do or perhaps, can do. Health and Security are the two main issues facing the whole world right now and considering his age, I have even not heard him say nor give ideas about how his administration would tackle this two sectors. Ghana, be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant selfless leader to help transform the life of the people with a strong liberation of the whole African continent.

I pray for good health, mentality change and long live for Ghana and the whole African community in Jesus name. May GOD help us all!!!

If anyone put in charge of a group of people has to resort to the use of physical force to keep the group in check, that act signifies that the person in charge is totally incompetent and incapable of devising intellectual and persuasive power that would convince, rather than force, the subjects into compliance. I don't want to believe that, by insistence on shutting down social media as a way to control the sharing of information on election day that the IGP or his paymasters would consider a source of disturbance of the peace, the IGP has admitted that he is bereft of more creative and intelligent ways of ensuring that Ghanaians communicate responsibility on election day. I believe the IGP is old enough to know about what happened to the Acheampong regime and its "Rumour Mongering Degree, which the way, I presume would still be on our statute books. Anyhow, if he believes the physical shut down of social media is the only solution to his imagined fear, someone needs to urgently tell him that one of the reasons why Ghana is said to be peaceful is the freedom of speech!!!! If he doubts it, let him contact me for researched advice.
