Hackers can hack into the security and EC systems. Let us just have a peaceful election.

The law he funnies me with their practices such senior and junior hen referring to colleagues in court as though that has any thing to do with the issue at stake. some say in reality that could sway judgement in favour of senior! and how old the gowns the wear are forms basis of respect or reverence in court and possibly could influence judgement! so very old and torn gowns are mended and worn! and their references to cases that happened many years and judgement given to give support to their argument; different environment, different circumstances.
but back to this issue that was thrown away. so this basic explanation given by he judges is not known by these apparent seasoned lawyers who are at the top of their association? even serial callers and panelist at tv and radio discussions knew this!

It is very surprising that, the GBA, which comprises only lawyers, don't know what an advice is and it has to take the SC to tell them what it means. Simple grammar alone makes it clear that, ''advice'' is an opinion by one person recommending a course of action to another person. The only viable response to an advice is to take it or reject it.
If the constitution tasks someone to do a job on the advice or in consultation of another person, it is madness to think that the adviser or the consultant must dictate what the one being advised should do. In some of the numerous duties assigned the President, the constitution requires him to be advised variously by certain bodies such as the Council of State, the Judicial Council, the Armed Forces Council, the Police Council etc. The President himself could even seek the advice of others besides the constitution's advisers. Why? Because he has to convince himself at least that he is doing a good job.
The Constitution's aim can only be that these advisory bodies faciliate the work of the President and not to oppose or frustrate him as the GBA seems to be wishing. We all know that, the person making the constitutional appointments is the one responsible for them not his advisers. He can therefore afford to ignore any advice he finds unsuitable. Laughably, the GBA's understanding seems to be saying that, it is the adviser and not the president, who must make these constitutional appointments. How fickle-minded!
I diagnose the ailment of the GBA to be that, they have strayed their way into doing politics. In other words, politics has made the GBA foolish.

GBA needed to consult widely on this matter before going to court,at worst they should ve sponsored someone to test the law but not them as a legal body,this mode of appointments did start with Mr Rawlings,Kufour,Atta Mills and now Mahama so where ve they been all this years?if the succeeded in the suit,what would've happened to the previous appointments including the CJ who was appointed by Mr Kufour?.They should rather busy themselves with cases that ve been determined by the courts and yet actions re not taken by the attorney general like the Woyome case and many others which is yet to be enforced by the AG.The EC is also gradually driving the country into a ditch but very little is herd on the EC,s mistakes.
