This is a true son of Ghana,when wise men speaks you see all the wisdom and sincerity in it,Mr Blay-Amihere has hit the nail right at the head God bless you.Adding to his points,just take the list of radio stations district by district through the regions and up to the national capital Accra and you ll really be surprised who own all the stations,we can also break it down to the era this became rampant,we ve a problem on our hands and it's about time some of the radio stations re close down or they ll close the country down one day soon.it has become a tool to misrepresent and broadcast lies for political gains,the only ones we hear re the stations in Accra but just travel out of Accra and your ll hear even more contentious comments than what's on the table of the Supreme Court.If political power is just to enrich polititians and their family and friends then this country is finished,the NCA,s leadership must bow their heads in shame for the mess they re coursing on our airwaves,how could a whole national security coordinator own a radio station?Larry Gbovlo Latey and another past ministers of defence Mark Woyomgo not to mention those who re still in political office like Ofosu Ampofo,Alhaji Collins Dauda,Haruna Iddrisu,Kwasi Ahoi,Asiedu Nketia the list goes on.So how can the airwaves not be polluted?.

At the time, it was your party and still who are, causing the shot with lots of these stations until their rivals came in to counter them. Sadly, nobody including yourself, Mr Ambassador saw nothing wrong with it. It is only when it affects sections of the public that it becomes a problem. Mr. Ambassador, did you condemn Ken Agyapong's genocide call against the Ewes and the Gas on his radio station? You did not because you are none of the two tribes. You are Nzema and Ken is your party member. Have you ever brought Blay and his so called (toilet paper) daily guide to order? No, because he is your party member and Nzema like you.The problems lie squarely with some of you because of your partisan lense. We have them out there. Lots of them. Peace fm, tv3 and the rest always fanning trouble in this country. In any case ,we are all ready for anything.

The reason for the hate speech is the result of impunity in the past. What is required is effective regulations and an operating sanctions regime, which may include financial sanctions, non-renewal of license, etc.

Ownership becomes a non important variable if the rules are working. Go and ask the FCC in the USA. Almost every broadcasting network these days has an ideological orientation as the newspapers were known to have. But there are yellow lines that are not crossed.
