Well, the Supreme Court cannot do anything unless someone with good sense compile a list of these evidences and submit to the Supreme Court to build a case for a new register. Apparently some voters have been disenfranchised on purpose by the EC. No one knows how many names have been deleted unlawfully by the EC. Any competent court of law will find this electoral register totally unconstitutional and therefore order a new one. However, the Supreme Court cannot act unless someone brings the evidence to their attention.

Ec is simply a Mahama Ndc mess. After the Supreme court case of the 2012 election results a referendunm should have been made to secure from ghanaians a new voters resgister. All the initiatives called for by the partisans of yes fell on the ears of the EC and Mahama nominated Charlotte Osei to continue the Ndc mission of reject for a new resgister. . Now the Ec is cleaning the bloated register in a false way to satisfy Mahama and his Ndc. So this confusion is part of the EC plans to maintain at all cost Mahama and Ndc. The problem is ghanaians are very aware of the manipulation and fraud of the Ec and seek a free and fair process. The Ec is blocked betweem its will to handled a better service to the nation and the instrumentation of reelecting Mahama by Charlotte Osei. So such incidents are going to happen until the election day when people will revolt against a system designed to impose a false uneclected president on us !

From what I am reading in this article,the EC's list may be fictitious. The EC may have just created the list in a hurry just to please the judges.

Birth and death registers are not correct so how can one even know who is carrying the ID card?

It still beats my imagination why no govt is seriously implementing a national ID for Ghana. Some govt tried through the NHIA but that was completely wrong, because national identification is the fully responsibility of the Interior Ministry. What is the worse, the methodology of the NHIA was out of target : they cannot simply move from place to place to register citizens. The correct method was to attach citizen registration offices (or NHIA offices) to the various district administration offices and in some cases the city councils. That is the only way to guarantee the decentralization of the already highy centralized system.

Of course, the data will be centralized (with system backups at regional level), IDs issued from a single point, but the distributed through the districts /city/metropoltan authorities.

Let me tell you one sad thing about software : no software can protect any other software from manipulation and because no matter what, ANY SOFTWARE can be manipulated/hacked, since any data-related application will use one database or the other. If someone tell you 'this software is 100% secure and can never be hacked/manipulated', tell that person a man called JMA Braun, a veteran Software Engineer says that person is telling LIES.

Infact, if I engage any life-chat with you, and you have a fixed IP address, I can access you computer just like that.

To remind you about this, a 17 year old Asian was able to break into the Pentagon (I assume you know what that is !!). Again the highly valued computer system of the US Military has been broken into 2 times

Mind you the issue npp has is not with the software manipulation lies you have concocted. It is about names in the register they want out. If you ever cared to understand the simple way the electoral system works for yourself rather follow your political party, whichever of the dumb ones that may be following foolishly, you would have realised that no software can be used to manipulate electoral results because it will not tally with what all the stakeholders who observed the elections and participated in collation have. It is clear therefore that, those complaining that their names have been deleted are not checking properly because, even though they have the same names, the ID numbers change - which they have confirmed.

To correctly check if one's name has been deleted, they have to check against names, VOTERS ID NUMBER and NHIS CARD NO. and not only their names.

Old age is a beautiful thing but not when it comes to leadership like that of a president. I like this man's (Nana Addo) charisma and humour but I think he is too old to be elected as a president. At the age of 70 years your thinking capacity and ways of analysing and executing issues is depreciated even if you are on medication. One must have seen too much in life at the age of 70yrs especially in the past and this alone justifies ones judgement about the present and the future.

I mean with all due respect, how is a president going to make decisions for the future of a country when he’s not going to be around? Being a president is like being a ‘verb’ which literally means action. A president must be active in the day to day activities of a country no matter how many people are surrounded by him/her. A president must be seen doing stuff like cheering the people on, inspiring the people, uniting the people, running with the people, visiting communities, helping the people, doing hard work with the people in other to motivate them since action speaks lauder than words! Please tell me how a president at the age of 70yrs would do all these and still have enough strength left to continue running a country.

This is the 21st Century, Ghana and for that matter Africa needs young and matured brilliant leaders with fresh mentality to transform the life of the people and not leaders with 1st and 2nd world war mentality. The world has moved on long time ago and it is still advancing and Africa must catch up and not left behind. The masses are rising and discerning and the old ways of doing things are no more. A modern nation needs a modern technology and not archaic philosophies.

Ghanaians must do the mathematics and know that this presidential candidate is too old. He is a grandpa and we all know what grandfathers do or perhaps, can do. Health and Security are the two main issues facing the whole world right now and considering his age, I have even not heard him say nor give ideas about how his administration would tackle this two sectors. Ghana, be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant selfless leader to help transform the life of the people with a strong liberation of the whole African continent.

I pray for good health, mentality change and long live for Ghana and the whole African community in Jesus name. May GOD help us all!!!

EC did not delete those who used NHIS rather deleting the opposition voters. This is clear. She knows what she is doing to retain NDC. NEW voters register must be done immediately to avoid any problems.

The EC is deliberately targeting certain areas known to be NPP strong holds, in those areas where people have openly declared to support the NPP by deleting names of voters who hold legitimate voters cards. It baffles one's mind why the EC is always scheming to cause problems? So where is the fairness in our electoral system? It's time for Ghanaians to rise up and fight the corrupt NDC govt and all their allies esp the EC boss and her deputies.

The NPP has a sordid history of unleashing evil an unwarranted attacks at the EC bosses, first with Afari-Gyan, and now with Charlotte Osei. War monger Serial Loser Akufo-Addo's plan has always been to maliciously attack the EC until he has bullied it into submission so that the NPP can have its diabolical way with the EC.

Afari-Gyan laughed at NPP's bluff, and the new EC boss, Charlotte Osei, has stood her ground against NPP's relentless demented attacks against her and the EC.

A shoddy work by incompetent EC -Charlotte Osei.The SC should ensure that, enough time is given by the EC, for those wrongfully disenfranchised by her office to reregister.By the way,why is it necessary to Change the general Election Date from Dec to Nov to coincide with that of the US!.Why can't officials learn to be original for once!.I think Candidates are aware that,the office of the President is demanding and therefore, a President-Elect should be more than ready to go.For eg.your national plans,inaug speech,Key members of your Cabinet, etc should be ready with a chance for ajustments, based on the Briefing on the actual picture of the State of affairs as you Campaign.You dont come on the Seat before you start to plan.Such a person is not fit to be the President but to loot Taxpayers Funds!.That's one of the reasons, its the highest office. Therefore, there's nothing like too short a time to inauguration,in my personal opinion.
