  The NDC will force all their members to vote according to party position on the issues in parliament so the opposition is forced to do same. That is why I believe NDC can not lead ghana successfully.

  Haven't they raised relevant issues with the current bill? Why don't you ask the ec and ag to revise the bill and lay it before parliament as soon as possible

  Before you embark on a useless and needless endeavour again, take a moment to ponder the rationale of your action.
  
  Elections have been held for years on the date that you want to change with no problems whatsoever. Then all of a sudden someone wants it moved foward quickly, insistently and nothing rings a bell in your head that something is wrong here.
  
  Charlotte wanted to hold the election with a bloated register until she was dragged to court.
  
  The Police Chief wants to block communications for the public during the election for no reason. He has to be dragged to court to show him that he does not have that authority,
  
  There are other clandestine and illegal activities which need to be dealt with step by step. Those planning these things can see the NPP family and all good Ghanaians acting together to fight them, so they need to speed things up.
  
  The time needed for a handover is not a good enough reason to want to shift a date which has been working well for years. It is nonsense especially now that all the nations money has been looted and the coffers are empty.
  
  Money was still doled out by Charlotte to buy a stolen logo instead of cleaning a register and the Police Chief is going to waste some more paying for social media to be blocked and yet again Charlotte comes again and wants to waste more money to reprint all the stationery that will be used for the certified election date while moving all the illegal activities that may be carried out forward.

  The people have been subjected to a harsh and damaging existence. All the nations resources have been sold, yet the people are seeing no benefits.
  
  Asiedu Nketia made millions in the construction of the Bui Dam and the people are still having power problems.
  
  The government is still collecting money and still signing away electricity production in an ever rising cost of utilities while they enjoy total relief from the crippling charges that they have imposed on the rest of the country and businesses.
  
  They have turned the plight of the people into a joke with their assigns and other hacks making risible statements at every opportunity.
  
  Their time is up and The NPP family headed by Nana Akuffo Addo will begin the largest asset reclamation program ever embarked in the country.
  
  Every pesewa paid under dubious or strange circumstances will be re-examined in clear and open circumstances and those who have looted, caused the nation losses or acrued unpaid charges will be made pay back to the people.
  
  on the international scene any contract or negotiation which has been made without due process will be recinded and the liability for any debt arising for other parties will be laid squarely with the perpertrators.
  
  The country will not honour any debt signed under dubious circumstances.
  
  The nation will actively track down all loot stashed outside the nation and actively work to relaim the peoples money and the blood-sucking entities from outside will be asked to leave peacefully.

  I suggest the General Election date be changed to October.

  Yes it's on party lines the majority over the years ve not shown enough good will when it come to issue,if you listen to their arguments from day one,they re not concern about what should be put in place by the EC before the voting takes place but rather they the NDC ve assume PR for the EC in all its undertakes .Much as I think the bill should've been considered,it's also not out of place to allow the EC ample time to thing through this bill properly before it's finally pass into law,the EC boss is to blame for all this opposition to the bill,since the day this bill was proposed,she had all the time here to ve tabled it before parliament and not to rush or through a compacted time table in an election year,this should also serve notice to the majority that parliament is about consensus building and not big English and display of naked arrogance.

  Whichever prty in is in the minority will adopt obstructionist attitude. Akufo Addo and his followers boycotted the investiture of Mahama. Boycotted Mahama's address to parliament etc etc. We are in for trouble.

  Dr. Oduro, stay in your world of "assumptions and speculations". Most Ghanaians have given up on this Parliament long time ago as being useless in taking care of our nations business. They think what they were elected for was to perform like in spectator sports. Which faction wins or looses is what is all about. No consensus on any issue brought before the house. The house has been turned into a stadia for Jokers. Some attend sessions when they wish and are happy to collect their pay. No sanctions. As a Ga friend opined a few days ago when the subject of parliament came up: "Na hami commie k3 kena ne ma ye ne ma wo" I am only interested in my daily bread. Most have given up on our politicians!
  Our prayer is for a benevolent miracle to safe us from the current political elite.

  Parliament has spoken. Whether is was on party line or whatever it was, every wise individual knows that Electoral commissioner is not ready at all for this year's election. She does not even know when the voter register will be cleaned as expected for onward distribution to the various parties. Only fools who hate to see Ghana grow, would vote against the minority decision and I am glad that a host of the NDC goons did vote against their own decision, knowing too well that the EC is simply not ready for a credible register.
