The promoter of the Chinese company has a long history of defrauding Ghanaians through joint business deals. Many Ghanaians has lost millions through promises of profitable deals with this guy called David Lee Pin. K Poly is not the first victim, he scammed others in importing DVDS, in setting same business with other private companies. His original company L and A Pacific International Co Ltd was notorious in defrauding unsuspecting Ghanaians. His record in our banks are worse. Your paper only has to flag his company in banks like ADB or UT, he scammed workers of ghana ports authority in a housing project in Prampram including local investors and professionals. The Rector should not personalize the issue but cooperate with investigators to stop this Lee guy who has no respect for Ghanaian laws nor citizens. He doesn't respect the courts as he does not even respond to legal proceedings. Many citizens lost their investments in similar business proposals including real estate business in Prampram. Talk to the chiefs n you can really appreciate how dangerous the promoter is.

Learn from the mistake and move on. Ghanaians students need hands on approach in developing skills to enable to compete in the job market.

We should pass a law requiring all contracts entered into by Government, Quasi Government Organizations and State Owned enterprises to go through a Quality Control and Due Diligence Agency before being signed. The Agency must be independent of the Government in Power. It's members must be elected. (we should find a way to make sure that they are held accountable with stiff penalties for negligence, breaking procurement laws etc)

N since he came to Kpoly: The initiatives, the staff scholarship to study, exchange programs, capacity building, and the fight for poly upgrade. Those who oppose him are the lazy ones who failed in previous schedules assigned to them. Yes they might be some misunderstanding with the Chinese deal, but kpoly was not a looser in anyway.
