Atleast we know can was arrested and multreated by the BNI , but no body bothered to question Nii Lantey as to why He was beating the Akans and preventing them from registering at where they have lived for so many years. We need to be bold and address this kind of problems. No need for political equalisation. If you don't know how the judicial system works in Ghana, you will alway get in trouble with them. A case has been ruled before the Supreme Court. If you don't agree with ruling, you don't go about insulting and threatening the judges involved. There is a sharp distinction between a threat to kill and defaming a member of the public. .A word threat to kill some one or group is a criminal offence under the nation's criminal code. In respect of EC who was publicly insulted by a member of the public doesn't amount to criminal offence. To overhaul the case, the EC would have every right to file civil charges or sue Mr Agyapong of defaming her in public place for damages. Our constitution doesn't circumscribed or prohibit citizens from offending anyone person or persons in public. Ghana is free democratic country and bound by, the right of the constitution, to offend in public. If a citizen feels his or her right is being violated, under ground of a language used or directed at, the person in question, should have the ultimate right to uplift the matter to a competent court in the country for civil charges. People should not confuse with the EC case and Montie 3 who were caught in their place work threatened to kill judges for ruling a case in favor of an opponent. This is a serious case and this will serve as a direct warning to others who believe they are untouchable in the country.
