Intelligence is one thing and wisdom is another. 2 persons working for EC have been fired for bringing voters register and verification machine to Dr Bawumea's residence. Is this true? Were they fired by NDC? If Dr Bawumea knew that it was wrong to bring voters register and verifying machine to his house and therefore turned down the attempt by the 2 EC officers but met them out and got verified in a place other than the voting center, as he claims, Dr Bawumea becomes accomplice if the 2 officers admit their wrong doing. There is a bit of truth to be desired of Dr Bawumea's story.

I will tell you why I do not trust Dr Bawumea. He said he discovered millions of foreigners names in the voters register and demanded a complete new compiled voters register. Togolese, Cote d'voir, Bukina Faso, etc, nationals bloated the voters register, he claimed. If it were true they would have registered with NHIS cards. Names registered with NHIS cards EC submitted to supreme court was 56K - deleted. The voters registers are out at all polling stations in all the regions for exhibitions, verification and re-registration. This is a good time Dr Bawumea and his NPP should identify and point out those names to EC to be dealt with. As of now I have not heard anything to the effect of the bloated foreigners names popping up during this exercise. It is because nothing like that existed.

EC must come out to give full report about the wrong doing of the 2 sacked officers and the GHC10,000 story.

Deputy Communications Director of the party, Anthony Karbo, says Dr Bawumia did nothing wrong when he received two EC officials to his home to verify his name on electoral roll.
According to him, the practice is not new.
He explained that Dr Bawumia had gone to a polling station in Walewale in the Northern Region to verify if his name was on the register, but returned home because of the long queue at the station.
He said out of respect for Dr Bawumia, the Electoral Commission officers offered to come to his house to verify him.
“Indeed my understanding is that they [EC officials] only brought the electoral register. He looked at it and realized that his name was still on the register and then asked them to go,” Anthony Karbo explained to Joy News Anchor, Evans Mensah.
