I agree 100% with you Rev. Agyinasare!!I just returned from the USA and I can say GM Food is killing Americans. 2. It will turn our local farmers into slaves. GM Foods is more of an economic invention. It is evil, please!!!

Freedom of speech does not give one the right to yell "fire" in a movie theatre or an airplane and cause pandemonium when no fire is present. Unrestrained, freedom of speech can be a threat to national peace and security and these hoodlums deserved to be punished to serve as a deterrent.

Some crops may lose their naturally occurring genes due to mutation. Scientists then corrects these genes. Some crops are redesigned with with genes that are capable of resisting diseases which is great for farmers so that they(do not have to use chemicals to control pests).
The kinds of crops being considered in Ghana (cowpea, rice) are enhanced to prevent huge production loses to farmers. I think we shld get the science right!

He himself have being eating genetically foods for long time, let me emphasize that every rice in the world is genetically modified which means some sort of genes has being added to yield more production.its only apples that are not genetically modified. Please we that have biotech degree know much about what people speak about but they don't know. just research.

We love every food imported and loathe any food locally produced and yet claim we do not want anything GM. We are 'chopping' perfume rice from Asia and elsewhere 'nyafu nyafu' and consuming Chinese chicken parts everyday with relish like we have no heads and yet claim we do not want GM foods.
