Anybody who has commonsense, and his or her sense of objectivity are intact, besides having regard for RULE of LAW, will NEVER petition for freedom for that serious misdemeanor committed by those 3 rascals.

Koku Anyidoho, begin to seek for wisdom, because it's becoming obvious you're lacking in it, yet you may need it nonetheless, if politics is your chosen career: Politics is not about "them against us", but about national development which includes national security. No nation can develop in the midst of violence, threats and disregard for RULE of LAW. We are a nation with laws and "law is no respecter of a person", meaning, you infringe on the law you get the time irrespective of your position and status.

If you're quoting the Holy Bible and referring to "forgiveness" enshrined in The Holy Book, I will refer you to a time when Jesus Himself went into a Synagogue and whipped perpetrators of defamatory acts at the Holy Place. Did "forgiveness" advocated in the Holy Book apply to that misdemeanor?

Second, if we're going to apply your "understanding" of forgiveness, then basically Ghana doesn't need prisons and by extension, the Judiciary, because forgiveness will take care of criminals not incarceration, right?

Massa Anyidoho, if you are lacking in WISDOM, just begin to seek for that priceless gift, because it may help you going forward in politics otherwise, quit any public career ambition, and public pronouncements, because it's not helping your image.

What's remarkable and so surprising about you NPP big guns is your shameful hypocrisy. Why didn't you raise your voices when Kufuor tampered with the composition of the Supreme Court? Why didn't you see anything wrong with that?

Which is more dangerous, a president suddenly increasing the number of the justices on the Supreme Court with three of his favourites purposely to overturn their earlier decision that he didn't like or a group of people collecting signatures of at least one million people in order to appeal to the President to grant pardon to three citizens who were given harsh prison sentences? But is granting pardon by a president unprecedented in the history of Ghana? Did Presidents Kufuor and Rawlings not grant pardon to some people during their administrations?

Is it fair also for the Supreme Court to be the prosecutor and judge in a case involving themselves? Isn't that questionable? Is that justice?

You these NPP hypocritical clerics, God is surely going to judge you since you've consistently and persistently seen things only from your perspective that favours you and your overall evil political agenda.

Citizens win or loose! Patriots who want the best for their country will normally temper political advantage in the interest of societal stability and peace. No one begrudges you and your NDC fanatics your right to petition your party affiliated President to excersise his prerogative to grant mercy to the MuntieFM 3 but understand based on opposing views on this issue it would be unwise to pressure the president to take such an action. It would be seen as undernining the institution of our judiciary due to the MuntieFM3 being members of the NDC. It would also be seen as selective justice. Why is the NDC not petitioning the president to petty criminal in jail whose offenses stemmed on lack of food for example? Note your President swore an oath to be a president for all Ghanaians? And may I remind you in the 2012 election about at least 48% did not want him as their president. The country is polarized and whether you see it or not. This is the time for level headedness not right because your party is in power for might ( political power) does not always justify what may be right for those with the advantage. The NDC party leadership and its ministers handling of this MuntieFM saga manifests an irrational exuberance that is inexplicable to the rational amongst us. One wonders what torments you all to see every event in our democratic dispensation in NPP colors?
