If there should be any power cut - not dumsor - that affects only a remote village of mine but nowhere else in the whole country due to a fault on the local transformer, say, the EC is going to use it as a good excuse to extend voting into the next day. And, as usual, the ballot boxes would be stored at compromised police stations. And we do, or do not, know what happens there before the boxes come out again.
I suggest all interested parties must come out now and decide what should exactly happen in such situations. I have never heard any mention of provisions in our constitution about extensions to voting days. This must be tackled now. We cannot trust our leaders on such matters. This EC can use loop holes to cause disaffection for us all, and they must be stopped by any means possible!!

At the collation center, the receiving phone could also be connected to a large screen where it will be beamed to all at the center to see as the message comes in. We don't have to waste money to get a company to transmit the results electronically. The EC officer at the polling station will send the whatup message in the presence of the party agent. This way the EC will receive the signed copy of the pink sheet.
