  What is it about our leaders that they keep quite about flaws in our country's laws that allow corruption to flourish while they benefit from it. They only find voice to speak about corruption when they are out of government and have no authority to effect change. No wonder the country is not making stride against corruption.

He has been left alone to have the big mouth to talk about other people he feels are corrupt. If Rawlings were to be in any South American country, he won`t have had it so easy. He`d have been in prison for what he did to society in the past.

  The punishment should be severe to deter others. The two, three and four years doesn't have any impact on offenders. I suggest maximum should be 25 years because others were executed some years back.

  These NDC guys know for sure the NPP would jail them after December.So they will enact a law that will limit the number of years they will be put away.So for the £23.5 million stupid road Mahama's friend built, if it comes to light Mahama bagged a cool £1 million, he can afford to spend 6months to 5 years in jail, come out a millionaire.This is hypothetical.So naturally anyone can deny themselves 5 years of freedom if they can make a million thereafter.In fact this is the modus operandi for Nigerian fraudsters.Make the money,put it away somewhere, do time in jail and come out a millionaire! It is not deterrent enough.Remember the army officer took a 50,000 cedi "loan" from the bank and got executed for using his influence in securing the loan.

  only yesterday, l listened to news and the punishment settled on was amazing, minimum, 6 months and maximum 5 to 10 years. Are we serious as a country to deal with that animal? l conclude that the answer is big no. Lord God help Ghana.
