A Chief is supposed to be the epitome of exemplary behaviour and that is why, in the GOOD OLD DAYS, if he misbehaves, and brings society into disrepute, he is destooled or deskinned! Unfortunately, these days chieftancy is often, literally, sold to the highest bidder so ALL SORTS of people become chiefs not because they merit it but because they have 'acquired it'! Whatever be the case, the Laws of the State called GHANA must work otherwise the whole of society is in serious jeopardy! Yes, it is true that the Office of the Chief has to be respected and hence sensitivity is often called for. However, as the elders say: Se Kokoram ammfer wo na oto wo hwen do a, wo so ma mfer de edze ahataw kokoo boto do! The closest translation would be: 'If the disease called Kokoram [Cancer?] does not respect you and affects your nose, you should also not feel shy to put a very bright leaf on it! This Chief must reap what he has sowed!

The intelligent Asantehene appealed to the President to remove Kojo Bonsu as the Metropolitan Boss for showing gross disrespect to the Traditional leaders. Kojo resigned his position and the matter ended there.

Compare that lawful protest to this village chief going around beating people, destroying their properties and even threatening to kill his own people.

The Chief could have reported the matter to the Police to warn the owners about the noise making which I believe the owners would have done something about but that Chief behaved like an animal.
