  I hail from Aduana clan of Berekuso Akuapem. look I,m highly peefed by the conduct of some of the royals of kumawu,because after the final litigation relating to the person to occupy the Kumawu stool,Sarfo was declared qualify to occupy the stool at Asantehene palace, so what is the meaning of all these. we must respect our elders orders and stop making troubles for kumawu. i,m 100% those who are making troubles are those who lost the chieftaincy battle before asantehene.

  Do you not think the problem is at the top(the king himself). I'm saying this because Bonwire has similar problem, a person without leadership skills has been imposed on us. He only come to the town to sell lands, put the money in his car trunk and drive away. In a period of one or two years, he has sold all Bonwire lands and does not answer questions from anyone, he has some macho men and women around him, the rest of us do not matter to him.
  Bonwire sec. sch was built by one of the old intelligent kings with his own money for 'his children.' After it was completed, they made sure it was strong enough to be used by the children, they filled it with blocks and left it for one month, before children were allowed to use it. They left land around 'river aboatia' which is the source of water for the people. This piece of land had never been touched by any human, it was virgin land so scientist from the civilized world used to enter the forest for biological studies, this new king has cut down all trees and sold them to 'timber contractors.' He has also sold the land and pocketed the money. The river is now on life support.
  
  My investigation reveal that the 'big king' used to live in Canada and the village king also lived in Canada, it is possible they know each other. People who know the life he lived in Canada question why we made such a person the king of Bonwire. Why can't we choose the one we want? The "big king" has imposed this crook on us.
  
  Traditions are good, but change that can bring progress must be welcomed. My question to fellow Africans is that "Do you not realize that most of your traditions are not good for our progress? We have been doing this for hundreds of years without progress, when are we going to wake up.
  
  One can not even speak his mind, and we say we are democratic. The country has been hijacked by kings and corrupt politicians who have teamed up and taken us hostage. Wake up my people, we need to roll this tradition to the museum as a piece of history.

  Judging from your article, one can easily argue that if what you are saying on behalf of the council is true, then Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua and or the KTC should not have any problem with what the group is asking for, and that is for National House of Chiefs or better yet, KTC making the Chieftaincy Declaration Form public for all to see since it's a public record. This would allow the group and the whole Kumawuman to harass the litigators to stop letigation and follow Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua.

  1) before Yaw Sarfoh was gazetted, did you declare to Kumawuman that such thing was going to take place?
  2) After you nicodemusly gazetted him, did you publish it to the public?
  All I can say is you are not going to throw dust into the eyes of Kumawuman..
  This gazetting you claim to have been orchestrated and blessed by the so called overlord of the Ashanti region is creating serious problems in the town Yaw Sarfoh is supposed to lead with love.
  The people themselves have come out to support him if he can prove the path he took to this point. The paperwork involved.
  How hard can this be? The Kumawuman want proof of how he was gazetted. If it appears legitimate they will all throw their weight behind him.
  If you Mr registrar and Yaw Sarfoh don't come out with what they are looking for, it means you don't want peace. You will be the one creating all the problems. Kumawuman have stated clearly that they want peace so let it prevail by complying to their demands

  Is this not simple?
  The town .is asking that Yaw Sarfoh shows his gazetted documents. Every thing proves right, we will all follow him. How simple and easy can it be?
  We need peace. Provide us with the document for peace sake. What do you have to hide?. The people of Kumawuman are not asking for more. They want to be on your side, but first comply to the town's demands. Your so called overlord has no business in kumawu affairs regarding who becomes our paramount chief. Your overlord has a limit. He doesn't enstool nor distool our paramount chief.

  If Yaw Sarfo is a true leader and claims to be the leader/chief, then he will provide the document people are asking for. Unless he has something to hide. Better yet Mr. Registrar or the traditional council can provide the document.

The simplest thing would have been to just show the people the forms you filled to be Gazetted and let Kumawuman have confidence in you. How hard can that be????

  There were checks and balances that were put in place to curtail his (any Otumfuor before and after him)powers but Asanteman has forgotten about it. If he is on overlord as some people claim, he wouldn't have asked permission from the courts and the two families who were involved, Ankaase and Ananangya to allow him to settle the dispute, he was supposed to be a mediator not imposing his will in this Chieftaincy dispute. Kumawuman from either side of this dispute must not allow that to happen as it will set a very bad precedence. I have great respect for Otumfuor and his position but his handling of this dispute has been a disaster. He must step back and Put things in the right place. It takes a strong man to realize his mistakes and set things right. I think he will gain a lot needed respect if he right the wrongs. Or we, Kumawuman, should remove the courts and Asanteman from our affairs and find a compromise somewhere in this dispute so we can have peace and prosperity.
