Do you know the different type of people living in the north? Mahama is a Gonja, which is one of about 38 tribes in the north. Appointing someone from Nandom is very far from appointing someone from Yendi. This professor is just loud mouthed seeking attention. Where was he when President Kufuor appointed his own blood brother Minister of Defense? And where was he when President Kufuor appointed 8 cabinet Ministers from Ashanti? For one thing the President appoints people he can work with and people who are competent. Is there any of his appointees from the North who is not competent at post. This is what we should be looking. The people he appoints is the appointment on merit or simply because they come from the North?

The conclusion is that there is some truth to the claim by the professor. The question though is if these are qualified. If they are, that it OK because we are all Ghanaians.

However when it comes to apologies, I believe you just state the facts and let the individual decide if he/she is in the wrong to apologize. I don't think apologies have to be demanded.

When president Kufuor says there is nobody qualified enough to be appointed in government , prof Adea did see anything wrong with that.
