Introduction of GPEG at the deprived basic schools to increase access, quality, in those schools.

Expansion of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) from 441,189 in 2008 to over 1.7 million beneficiary pupils.

THIS PROGRAMME IS NOW FULLY FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA

Significant increase in the Capitation Grant amount each school receives depending on the enrollment of the school

Introduction of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) programme to give capital/entrepreneurial supports to the teeming youth into the business world.

Youths in Sanitation model. Youths were trained to and given tricycles to collect refuse at a fee of their own.

Construction and Revamping of new and already collapsed factories initiatives, such as the Tomato factory, Komenda Sugar factory, Kumasi Shoe factory, and several others

Introduction of the Rural Enterprises Programme (REP) to create jobs for the youth, particularly those in the informal sector

Introduction of the Secondary Education Improvement Project (SEIP) which aims at increasing access to

Senior Secondary Education in undeserved districts and improve quality in low-performing SHSs in the country

Consider developments like:

The construction of 1,260 new CHPS compound to help improve the rural health delivery.

This same administration has been able to connect electricity to most hinterlands which in the past were not connected to nation grid.

With all these achievements and others, Mahama seriously deserves every bit of the praise.

A good businessman will tell u that you must borrow to neet demands. Also when you make investments, you don't still expect to have money in your pocket.
Ghana shall harvest the returns of all these investments soon.

And the President has indeed invest the amounts borrowed very well.

Strategic investment like the New Kwame Nkrumah Circle roundabout and the Kasoa interchanges project will engage the situation where traffic will be eased and allow for more soci-economic activities helping the growth of our country.

How can hungry Ghanaians eat roads now as food is scarce? Mahama and NDC ignored the rest of the economy and concentrated on roads construction for reasons known to them. For, it is easier to get kickbacks from roads construction than promoting exports.

617 bed University of Ghana Teaching. Hospital, 420 Ridge Hospital, 386 Bolgatanga Hospital, 250 bed Ashanti regional hospital at Sewu-Kumasi. The 500 bed military hospital project in Kumasi. (Institutional Hospital), 104 bed police Hospital project which is an institutional Hospital. The second phase of the Tamale Teaching Hospital expansion project will add 400 beds to the existing beds.160 bed Upper West Regional Hospital. 130 bed Maritime Hospital at Tema. (Institutional Hospital) Now let us continue with District Hospitals.

No doubt with all that money sunk in the economy , there is no real growth.... a mere 3%. Kufuor had only $10 b in 8 years and the economic growth hit went up consistently to 9 %.

But the realities are that the NPP is even not giving the real figures in terms of these projects and must not be taken seriously.

There are just not happy about investments like, the Facelifted Ridge Hospital which will provide about 500 new beds, the Bekwai District hospital of the Ashanti region and about the 1276 new CHPS compounds to improve the rural health delivery.

High cost of electricity, higher transport fares . very high cost of living. Bad roads. Maybe our place here - things are different as compared to other parts of the country.

That is why I think Mahama deserve 2nd term in office to stabilise the economy. But am sceptical if his people won't take it as a blank cheque to steal us more.but the alternative is a gamble ghana can't afford.

Macroeconomic stability has kicked started. cedi relatively stable since beginning of this year, deficit narrowing very fast, consumer and producer inflation are on the dependency, with this indicators turning positive interest rates will surely follow. Electricity reliability, even though still challenging, but getting better , tarrifs have come down. in fact 75 units was 56 Ghana CEDI's since January but in July and going forward now 39 Ghana CEDI's. so Andie Awuni, in addition to infrastructural development mahama is tackling the macroeconomy also. the cdd report says 48% approves his performance .BINGO. #CHANGING LIVES AND TRANSFORMING GHANA.
