Mahama feels the learned and honoured Dr Bawumiah is now a big thorn in his fresh so he is opting fabrications to dishonour him. Notwithstanding, what God has blessed, Mahama can never destroy.

It was okay for NPP folks to request an investigation into the so-called US$ 100,000 Ford vehicle gifted to President John Mahama by which the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) have taken upon themselves to investigate and the recent news from Akua Donkor, but hypocritically refusing to accept the same meted out against your favourite guru, huh?

What kind of a double standard is that of Kukurudu camaraderie, if you don't mind me asking? Also, who first reported in here before the world that Bawumia paid some GHS10, 000 each to these two individuals for allowing him to verify his status at his residence? Was it the NDC that come out with that initial news or the EC? You folks have subsequently gained notoriety for flippancy indeed.

The reason why I responded to folk tale story of yours was due to your definite denial of your own clear expression that you never mention bribe when you were questioned on your earlier posting. Buddy you were wrong because from the inferences of your statement one could conclude that way.

I do not deny the fact that we are a democratic nation. Yes, we are democratic society which by your own standard every criminal complaint must or should be investigated to the latter. However, where is the equilibrium on Ghana’s democracy, when the limited resources for the nation it being looted and share by your own chorines without any repercussion.

Please, do not propel dust with force through the air on our eyes with distortion because after the President‘s ford prid pro quo story broke some weeks ago no authorities have taken initiative to do any investigation. On this issue however, the same authorities are quick to proceed with an investigation on this baseless allegation.

About the Akua Donkor’s issue, who came out with the claim that she has been given fleet of cars by the President- Akua Donkor and who came out to deny this claim – your own NDC Cronies. Therefore, isn’t wise to find out where the truths belong. If she received those vehicles through the limited state coffers, then why your cronies should denies it.

In this instance the personnel might have sensed it and offered him avoidable means of facing such circumstances. It could have been a few feet away from recognition. The EC was right in punishing the workers because they should have measured their work ethics violation against avoidable benevolence. However Bawumia might have been totally in the dark as to the motive, if there be any, or consequences of a bona fide exercise.

All those who have taken political stance here should cool down, sit back and reflect on the gravity of what is at stake. To me, I humbly think Dr Bawumia should’ve been wise enough not to allow the officials to verify his details ‘outside the designated area’. Secondly, Dr Bawumia as a political leader should’ve known that it is never acceptable for EC materials to be displayed outside a designated area where the exercise was taking place.
To the EC investigators, If Dr Bawumia was verified outside the designated area and not his house, please tell us the exact place the verification was done.(on a park, in the hospital, someone’s kitchen)? I don’t think any political party will accept that EC official should be going round and verifying the general public at anywhere? Why Bawumia but not ‘kojo, Abudu, or Mawutor’?
All this noise is emanating because the subject in question is a political leader who would’ve also taken a stance if it was his opponent who is caught in such an irresponsible act.

Old age is a beautiful thing but not when it comes to leadership like that of a president. I like this man's (Nana Akufo Addo) charisma and humour but I think he is too old to be elected as a president. At the age of 70 years your thinking capacity and ways of analysing and executing issues is depreciated even if you are on medication. One must have seen too much in life at the age of 70yrs especially in the past and this alone justifies ones judgement about the present and the future.

I mean with all due respect, how is a president going to make decisions for the future of a country when he’s not going to be around? Being a president is like being a ‘verb’ which literally means action. A president must be active in the day to day activities of a country no matter how many people are surrounded by him/her. A president must be seen doing stuff like cheering the people on, inspiring the people, uniting the people, running with the people, visiting communities, helping the people, doing hard work with the people in other to motivate them since action speaks lauder than words! Please tell me how a president at the age of 70yrs would do all these and still have enough strength left to continue running a country.

This is the 21st Century, Ghana and for that matter Africa needs young and matured brilliant leaders with fresh mentality to transform the life of the people and not leaders with 1st and 2nd world war mentality. The world has moved on long time ago and it is still advancing and Africa must catch up and not left behind. The masses are rising and discerning and the old ways of doing things are no more. A modern nation needs a modern technology and not archaic philosophies.

Ghanaians must do the mathematics and know that this presidential candidate is too old. He is a grandpa and we all know what grandfathers do or perhaps, can do. Health and Security are the two main issues facing the whole world right now and considering his age, I have even not heard him say nor give ideas about how his administration would tackle this two sectors. Ghana, be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant selfless leader to help transform the life of the people with a strong liberation of the whole African continent.

I pray for good health, mentality change and long live for Ghana and the whole African community in Jesus name. May GOD help us all!!!
