  This show of solidarity is an indication and validation of violence on the part of the government. The govt would be setting very bad precedent if it succumbs to pressure from the party members to release the "Montie trio". Supposing they are released and a relative of CJ threatens them physically or verbally would you expect that person to be prosecuted by the judiciary and incarcerated? The sword of violence could be held by anybody in the society but it is the judiciary which is mandated and empowered to disarm the holder. If the judiciary is crippled, the society slips into anarchy. A word to the wise is enough.
