(a) grant to a person convicted of an offence a pardon either free or subject to lawful conditions. Who is ignorant here. The Constitution of the Republic of Ghana gives the president the power to release any one who is imprisoned in Ghana and he doesn't need to give any reason for the pardon.

As much as i agree wholeheartedly with your stand against the petitioners, i state here that the biggest blame must be placed on the door step of the Attorney General for pretending ignorance. The trio were only convicted on contempt charges because the judges by law could not be prosecutors unto themselves. The 10 years could have been possible had the A-G taken the initiative. Someday it will come to hunt NDC and its bunch of knit-witts.

How long did Adamu spent at Nsawam prisons before pardon, was Adamu pardon through an ignorant and pressure petition, did Adamu threatening to end up judges lives in this country, did Adamu undermine the apex court of the land.Adamu was pardon in a very critical condition. The judges were too lenient to them. Mahama an insult doesn't win political power and you are going to be deny major vote because of these montie trio agenda of insulting every noble person in this country. When this Mugabe insulted Okyehene where was Mahama. Did Mahama disassociated himself and the ndc when the judges and the apex court of the land were undermined, Nonsense.

Don't you know the law has the maximum punishment for every offence or crime? You don't even know that presidential pardon does not necessarily mean the prisoners should only be freed. Their sentences could also be reduced. Don't presidents pardon murderers? What of that one too? Anyway, to show your objectivity, we are waiting to hear you give your opinion on Wardie's threat that if Mahama pardons the Montie 3, what happened to Mills will happen to him, meaning he will die like Mills. We are waiting to see if you will say he should be arrested, tried and if found guilty, given your 10 years maximum sentence or the 4 months like the Montie 3. If you don't come out and say anything, in fact, some of us will never respect you any longer and we shall surely show this in subsequent comments.

The continous assault on the judiciary was a plan hatched by the NDC govt and party to cower and instill fear in the Justices and Judges to bend the law, their independence, impartiality and their will against the threat of rape, violence and murder.
It will be recalled that Justice Dotse entreated to be fair and firm in election cases during a training program for Judges on CI 91.(reference General news of Friday, May 27th, 2016).
The Montie 3 had the support of John Dramani Mahama and his govt and party to engage in that misconduct and irresponsibility thinking, the nonsense-ness of yester-years have relevance in contemporary Ghanaian politics and democracy of today.
Well, Ghanaians through our court system have sent them a clear, unambiguous message that not this time, not now, not ever.
